Ryan paused, eyeing Dina with clear suspicion. In response. Dina locked her piercing wolf gaze ordo Ryan and tapped into her spirit’s innate gift the power to loud the minds lower ranking wolves.

Within moments, Ryan’s expression went blank, his will completely overridden. Like a puppet, he gave a stiff nod, swiped the room key for them on his way out, and disappeared down the hall.

Supporting Killian’s weight, Dina guided him to the bed, where he collapsed heavily onto the mattress. A sly smile touched her lips as she pulled out her phone and switched it to camera mode.

“Mr. Hawke…? Mr. Hawke?” she whispered softly, ensuring he was fully unconscious.

“Click-click-”

She took several carefully framed photos from suggestive angles, then scrolled through the results with a satisfied gleam in her

eyes.

The images showed Killian sprawled across the bedsheets, his clothes disheveled, while she leaned close beside him, creating an unmistakably intimate scene.

Morning light filtered through the gap in the curtains. Killian awoke with a pounding headache. He was about to raise a hand to his

presence in the bed. temples when he sensed another

He jerked upright and scrambled out, suddenly aware he was only wearing his boxer briefs. Snatching his shirt from the floor, he pulled it on hastily, his expression darkening with anger.

Dina stirred at the movement and sat up calmly. “Mr. Hawke…”

“How did you get in here?” Killian’s voice was icy, his crimson wolf eyes blazing with fury.

Dina blinked, feigning innocence. “I came by last night to drop off some urgent documents. You were already pretty out of it… and you kind of insisted I stay.”

As she spoke, she tossed the covers aside and stood, gathering her clothes from the floor and slipping them on.

Once dressed, she offered a conciliatory smile. “Don’t worry, I won’t say a word to Ms. Hudson. This doesn’t have to affect your engagement. We can just pretend it never happened.”

Killian stared at her, his mind racing yet blank on details. He distinctly remembered having only two glasses of whiskey the night before-there was no way…

“Get out,” he said coldly, a dangerous glint flashing in his eyes. “If any of this leaks, you know what will happen.”

Dina lowered her head and hurried toward the door. The moment it closed behind her, a triumphant smirk curled at the corner of her mouth.

Frustrated, Killian grabbed his phone from the nightstand and noticed an unread message from Jason.

“Mr. Hawke, the original paternity test documents have been destroyed as you instructed.”

Back at the Blazebarn Pack estate, Natalie had waited all night for a reply from Killian. She was just about to call him when a knock came at the door.

“Ms Hudson, are you awake?”

Recognizing Nira’s voice, Natalie quickly set her phone down and went to answer.

Nira’s POV:

Standing at the door, I felt a slight awkwardness seeing Natalie again. After all, it was now confirmed that we weren’t mother and daughter.

“Ms. Hudson, we’re getting ready to head back today.”

“So soon?” Natalie’s voice trembled, her eyes reddening instantly. “Can’t you stay a few more days?”

Seeing her like that, something stirred inside me-Lyra let out a soft, mournful howl in the back of my mind.

I pressed my lips together gently. “There’s a lot waiting for me back home.”
