Chapter 37 The Rookie Village’s Real–Life Undercover!
When NickPlays shared his thoughts, lots of average players agreed, and even some pro players said he had a point.
Skyspire Shield saw the post and got really annoyed.
Honestly, he still trusted Alden’s skills.
After all, Alden had helped him level up before, and those moves weren’t things an average player could do.
But right now, he didn’t know how to argue back.
Alden hadn’t leveled up in a long time, and now he even dropped a level, so it was hard to prove people wrong.
Still, he didn’t want to give up.

He simply posted, “Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. I think Frost King had something come up in real life and was away for a while.
“When he got back online, he probably tried to catch up by grinding high–level monsters, and that’s how he ended up dropping a level.”
However, it was obvious that Skyspire Shield was just making excuses, and his words only drew mockery from many others.
Right after he posted, he got a private message from the Skyspire Club.
“Stop worrying about Frost King and quit posting nonsense online. You’re just making people think our family’s full of idiots.”
After reading it, Skyspire Shield’s mood soured.
“Sis, you think Frost King is bad, too?”
“Isn’t it obvious? You can see the truth by yourself.”
Skyspire Shield didn’t know what to say. Still, he stubbornly said, “I’m sure Frost King has just hit a temporary setback. He’ll rise again.”
Alden had no idea that losing a level had caused such a big reaction.
He walked out of the revival altar,
Old Barrel looked at him and smiled. “Not bad, you managed to knock off more than 6,000 HP from the Village Keeper.”
Alden’s lips twitched. “I never thought the Village Keeper would be a Fighter.”
“Yep, and not just any fighter. He’s a Frostfire Fighter.”
Alden waved it off. “Anyway, I’ve got to level up.”
Without another word, he left Rookie Village and made his way to the Twisted Jungle.

Chapter 37 The Rookie Village’s Real–Life Undercover!
The moment he stepped into the dungeon, his eyes sharpened.
When he fought the Village keeper this time, he didn’t wear the Purifying Pendant.
He hadn’t planned on taking much of the Village Keeper’s HP anyway.
He just wanted to see how strong the Village Keeper was and earn Roland’s trust.
Now that Heaven’s Hand had reached three stars, his normal attacks could restore three HP each time.
But the same problem came up again.
The monsters in the Twisted Jungle were too weak.
They were killed after only a few hits, so he couldn’t build up much HP at all.
After clearing the Twisted Jungle twice solo, Alden made it back to level 10.
Hitting level 10 again didn’t give him any Attribute Points this time.
But that didn’t matter.
He didn’t rush back to Rookie Village. Instead, he stayed here, increasing his HP to 250,000 before heading back.
With higher HP, he felt a lot more confident.
Back in Rookie Village, at the Ironsmith Shop.
Alden turned in the quest from his fight with the Village Keeper.
Ding! “You have completed Roland Ironsmith’s quest. Reward: +5 Attribute Point.”
