Chapter 41 I’ve Been Reborn, and I Got Fountain Camped?
Alden didn’t answer.
He wasn’t the type to talk during a fight.
The feathered arrow zipped through the air and struck the Village Keeper again.
The boost in attack speed and movement speed made Alden’s kiting look super easy.
But the Village Keeper’s reflexes weren’t slow either!
Once Alden pulled back to a safe spot, he used the Fourfold Mirage.
A prickly shiver ran down Alden’s spine.
Ninefold Mirage!
If someone could actually pull off nine dashes in a row, that would be insane.
Especially for a brawler.
Every time they closed in, it was a deadly threat for fragile ranged classes like priests, mages, archers, or summoners.
“Explosive Punch!”
The Village Keeper’s punch slammed into Alden’s chin, sending him flying.
But just as the Keeper got ready to follow up, Alden was already back on his feet.
“So fast? He can even cut knockback?”
e Keeper’s pupils shrank. A bad feeling crawled into his chest.
He no longer had the speed advantage–he’d already used ultimate body and
rage mode.
If Ninefold Mirage couldn’t take Alden down, the rest of this fight was basically over.
“Frost King, we can work something out. Name your price.”
For the first time, the Keeper sounded a bit desperate.
Honestly, he wasn’t sure Ninefold Mirage could kill Alden.

This guy’s healing is ridiculous.
Each basic attack heals about 3,000 HP–way more than the 1,000–per–second regen the Keeper got from his full silver gear as Rookie Village’s big boss.
“Sure.”
Alden’s hands never slowed, but his words said otherwise.
The Keeper blinked. “What do you want?”
Alden pretended to think, his arrows still flying at crazy speed.
He maxed out his attack speed.
“How about this–ten God–Level Talent Awakening Stones,” Alden said.
That was all the Keeper needed to hear.
He knew Alden was playing him.
“Frost King, you’re forcing me. If that’s how you want it, I’ll burn this talisman just to kill you.”
A pale blue talisman appeared in his hand.
Alden’s face changed instantly–he turned and bolted.
Talismans were bad news.
He could maybe handle a yellow one, but this was blue–grade. Even if he wanted to fight, he couldn’t resist.
“Too late to run now!”
The Keeper activated the blue–grade talisman.
A sharp, biting cold spread out, freezing everything it touched into ice sculptures.
Alden ran full speed, but it wasn’t enough.
In a blink, his legs stiffened as ice crawled up from the ground.
A heartbeat later, Alden was frozen solid.

His HP bar dropped fast, but the Keeper didn’t stop there.
“Blazing Sky Palm!”
A fiery palm strike slammed into frozen Alden.
Ice and fire clashed, exploding all at once.

Alden’s HP hit zero–instant death.
Rookie Village, revival altar.
When Alden respawned, everything he wore–except a few items without level requirements- was gone.
Since he’d been wearing level–ten Galeborn gear before, dropping to level nine meant he couldn’t wear it anymore.
The moment he appeared, a crowd was already outside the revival altar.
There was the bar waiter, the potion shop owner, the tailor shop boss, plus a bunch of wandering NPCS–15 in total.
The second they saw Alden, they attacked without hesitation.
Silver needles flew from the tailor’s hand toward him.
Alden jumped onto his bowstring, launched into the air, and fired Quintuple Shot.
The Ninefold Longbow had no level requirement, so he was still using this gold–level weapon.
Five feathered arrows hit five different NPCs, each doing almost 8,000 damage.
At the same time, Lightning Jump was triggered–three arrows sparked and chained to other targets, with more damage numbers popping up.
“Flame Burn!”
The bar waiter threw a wine jar at Alden’s feet, setting the ground on fire.

The damage kept ticking. Luckily, his Purifying Pendant made him 80% immune to negative effects.
Without it, he’d lose 500 HP every second.
Before he could attack again, the potion shop owner acted.
A bottle of pitch–black liquid spilled around Alden.
Ding! “You have been hit by a Serious Injury Potion. Your healing and lifesteal are reduced by
8%.
And it wasn’t just them–every NPC attacked, stacking damage.
In under a second, Alden lost 20,000 HP.
Damn it, Alden cursed inwardly.
I’ve been reborn, and I got fountain camped?
How humiliating!
“You want to fountain–camp me? Fine. Let’s play.”
His eyes went cold. After one wave of hits, he fired another full–force Quintuple Shot.
Archers had gear like split bows that didn’t need perfect aim.
But Alden’s Quintuple Shot required every arrow to hit–pressure was intense.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
His arrows hit five NPCs again.
This time, he noticed something cool–each Quintuple Shot could trigger Heaven’s Hand’s passive effect five times.

With his three–star Heaven’s Hand, that meant a permanent +15 HP with every shot.
Still, damage was a problem with the Quintuple Shot.

These NPCs were bosses with high defense, so normally Quintuple Shot wouldn’t hit that hard.
But Heaven’s Hand’s God–Level talent helped–its passive effect dealt True Damage equal to 3% of his max HP, ignoring the shot’s normal limits.
Even that alone hit hard.
The Village Keeper wasn’t back yet, but Alden knew he was coming.
He had to take down at least five NPCs before the Keeper arrived, or escaping would be nearly impossible.
Quintuple Shot drained stamina like crazy.
At his current stats, he could keep it up for 15 minutes before his aim started slipping.
“Fifteen minutes is more than enough.”
