[>Glassvolt Cryst] [>Glassvolt Cryst Emperor (Gene Class) (Legendary) (E)] โ
Sylas took a breath but suppressed whatever desire he had to accept his upgrade. He was very sensitive about his foundation, and he knew for a fact that it would be far better to upgrade both of his Gene Classes at the same time.
While Salivar didn't follow this route, that was because his main Aether Path was the foundation for the other two. His overall path was also quite odd.
He didn't actually have a Tri-Class Constitution. Instead, he had something approximating it. While it was more flexible than a true Tri-Class, it also had certain limitations that other Tri-Classes didn'tโnamely the danger involved.
Though Salivar had managed to make it to the E-tier, there was no guarantee he would be able to make it to the D- tier or beyond. Every tier he improved beyond would come with its own danger.
However, Sylas was very interested in something else...
Namely, his ability to use more than one Comprehension at the same time.
Granted, Sylas felt like Salivar had wasted this ability. All of his Comprehensions were related to energy and Intelligence, so Salivar lacked a great deal of balance.
Much like most things in this world, if you gained too much in one aspect, you began to waste a lot of what you had earned. Salivar's Intelligence was off the charts, but a lot of it was dimmed and weakened by his other aspects.
Of course, this was just Sylas nitpicking. Salivar was clearly an enemy who was extremely powerful. He couldn't remember the last time he had struggled so much against someone within a level of him-even if that level difference also represented a tier difference.
All of this was to say that... Sylas took Salivar's corpse.
Something told Sylas that doing this would get him in a great deal more trouble, but he did it anyway.
At some point, your enemies would be so infuriated that offending them more wouldn't make much of a difference. And at the point they were at now, they had surely blitzed well by that.
That said, there was one of the rewards that Sylas did bring out.
[Rewards]
[>Glassvolt Cryst]
Sylas pulled the reward out from the system screen, using his Scorned Wraps subtly to stop the system from automatically deploying both at the same time.
He knew that he would have rewards for the Quicktime Event as well, but right now wasn't exactly the best time to patiently go through such items one by one.
This reward, though... he couldn't resist.
What looked like a smooth, spherical Aetherstone landed in Sylas' palm.
Aetherstone didn't usually look like this. It was irregular, quite like mined crystal should look. But this looked like it had been polished and prepped to hang from some rich aristocrat's neck.
Just holding it there, though, Sylas felt as though all the Glassvolt in his body was being pulled toward a single direction. It passively filtered through the crystal before it passed to his body right after.
