Unfortunately for Sylas, that answer was obvious to him immediately as well.

[A-Grade Medley (Gold) (Raw Template)]

[The Harmony of the universe is only heard by the strong and suffered by the weak. Hear the tune of an A-tier, dance to their rhythm, and strike with their power] [Uses: 1/1]

He had already used one of his rewards to learn about this Call of the Titan, but was he going to have to use a second so immediately afterward?

The value of A-Grade Medley was hard to describe, and it might remarkably well save Sylas in the future. A future that was a lot nearer than it probably seemed right this moment.

However... a one-time-use item versus a perpetual improvement to his grasp and understanding over a Profession that was invaluable to him.

If he could use Call of the Titan on Reaper Sealwright, he wouldn't have to worry about life-threatening Profession Quests, his improvement would be smooth, and most importantly of all, he would have an inside track to maximizing his Grimblade Race.

On top of that, he had already proven several times that Reaper Sealwright wasn't just an auxiliary ability. It could be used directly in combat as well.

It had helped him kill Amende, and though he had purposely not used it against Salivar, had he, the battle would have been far easier than it had been.

The trouble was...

Even A-Grade Medley might not be enough to guarantee that he didn't lose his life. The gap between A-tier and S- tier wasn't something that Sylas had experienced personally, but he knew for a fact it had to be huge.

Just because he used A-Grade Medley didn't mean that he would get off scot-free. If anything, it just might mean that he was in pain for longer.

However...

'It's worth it.'

Sylas wasn't the sort to try and hoard something that could save his life only a single time. He would always choose foundation over immediate gains. What was long and lasting would never match up to what was short and fleeting.

But it was still impossible for him to make this sort of choice without more assurances. He needed more... what he genuinely needed was a version of Andromeda that could be used with his current self.

'Wait...'

An idea churned in Sylas' mind.

His limiting factor right now was certainly his Wisdom. Of all his Mental Stats, Wisdom was now the only one that wasn't Willborne. However, the state of his Willborne Intelligence was very odd as well.

He had deciphered how to form Willborne Intelligence, but unlike his Willborne Charisma, his Willborne Intelligencewas very tier-dependent. If he progressed to E-tier, he would likely lose it.

Luckily, he had received a multiplier to his reward, and thus he now had a Glassvolt Cryst that would help him form Willborne Intelligence in the E-tier as well.

So long as Sylas stayed ahead of it, he was confident in keeping his Willborne Intelligence. And, if he reached a certain threshold, he would likely be completely free to keep his Willborne Intelligence even without the need of a reward like the Glassvolt Cryst.
