Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1760

ο»ΏChapter 1760: Change of Plans

Sylas had never really cared about Old Brama's mech inheritance. As amazing as it seemed, he had never had any interest in the usual secondary Professions.

He was confident that if he truly wanted to-whether it was becoming the best of elixir makers, or blacksmiths, or anything of the like it was only a matter of time and effort on his part. There wasn't anything he felt he was unable to achieve.

However, he had his hands full with many other things. Plus, his Scorned Wraps had always restricted him a great deal. He hadn't even been able to use Andromeda in battle without his Scorned Wraps reacting back then.

Now, this situation was obviously different. But Sylas still had no desire for it. As far as he was concerned, it was a waste of time. There were far more efficient ways to increase his strength than sinking his time into professions that would drain his funds.

Plus, as a Rune Master, he was already building a foundation that could expand into any Profession he wanted to, since Rune Mastery was the foundation of every secondary Profession there was in some way, shape, or fashion.

But now Sylas had decided that he would be taking Old Brama's inheritance.

The difference was that rather than asking Old Brama to teach him like Alexi, he directly asked for its origin.

This was something Sylas had noticed long ago. He had been across many locations in the universe now, but he hadn't seen anyone use Old Brama's methods. This was peculiar.

Sylas had expected that he would at least see some measure of things like Old Brama's mechs when he went to the Weaver Guild, but he didn't see anything there at all.

Then Sylas thought about how Old Brama was originally working so hard on Andromeda because he thought it would be the secret to clearing their personal hidden world.

The intricacies of the importance of Spacetime affinity and successfully surviving that world wasn't something Sylas had forgotten. In fact, it was a huge part of his plans for the future of that world, though he had yet to execute on it.

It was just that at this point... Sylas hadn't thought he needed Andromeda. And since he hadn't been able to use it in battle anyway, he had never had the desire to improve it.

But now this matter would make or break his future, so he had to.

The question was... how long would it take him to improve to the point he could craft something better than Andromeda?

The answer to that question was: not long at all.

This wasn't because Sylas would surpass Old Brama by that much, though that was, in part, going to be a factor in the equation. The truth of it was that Sylas simply had far better resources than Old Brama did.

After all, he had an A-tier who had loaded him up with resources. He had left most of them, but getting Fanelei to send them his way was only a matter of a message.

However, he didn't need to go so far.

'Let's return,' Sylas said.

There was one more thing he needed to make this work... πšπ«πšŽπ—²π•¨πžπ›π•Ÿπš˜π―πšŽπ—Ή.𝕔𝐨𝗺

He needed to be home.
