Chapter 2024: Truly

The humanoid puppet that Sylas gave Elara was specifically designed to be only usable on Earth. The obvious problem with it was that Sylas couldn't Rune craft Will. So to give it life, regardless of how close to a perfect replication of life it was, it needed someone's Will.

Since the humanoid was a perfect—at least mechanical-recreation of his little sister, it thus needed his little sister's Will.

By extension, under usual circumstances, if it was the case that Elara used the puppet under normal conditions, then Elara would be limited by whatever her usual Visualization range was. Or, in other words, whatever range her telekinesis-if she had any-usually was, would be the limit of range at which she could use the puppet.

The fact Sylas wasn't even sure if his little sister had telekinesis or not was probably the crux of this entire problem, but he definitely wasn't thinking about that right now.

What he was thinking about was how this original limitation of the puppet had been fixed by him.

It might not have been the only solution and there may very well have been treasures in existence that could accomplish similar things, but at least the way Sylas had solved the issue was by giving his sister a portion of his privileges as a Progenitor.

He couldn't do that infinitely, but at the highly least, he could allow Elara to use the puppet anywhere on Earth while remaining in the City Lord Mansion.

Essentially, she could dive head first into any and all danger while remaining in the safety of her home...

So long as it was Earth.

But logically speaking, the moment Elara left Earth, this benefit should be gone, and it definitely shouldn't work in reverse like this. It would have already made no sense for Elara's puppet to still be active even if she was just on another planet in the Milky Way.

Though Sylas was also the Progenitor of the Milky Way Galaxy, he hadn't given Elara free reign over that territory for a reason. He didn't want her running into a range of people that were far outside enough of his purview that they might think they could get away with exposing the fact he had a mischievous little sister.

And yet, here Elara was, clearly having been fooling their parents while off in the Demi-God Plane.

Elara cleared her throat, clearly feeling that Cassarae's demand was more rhetorical than not. But her brother was clearly still in too much of a daze to figure out what the problem was. And Elara had a feeling that that wasn't just because Cassarae was sitting in his lap.

He was probably baffled with himself for not thinking of something so obviously right in front of him.

She cleared her throat again, trying to look anywhere but Sylas' eyes.

As for Cassarae, she was already beaming. Pushing herself up from Sylas' lap, she rounded Elara and then gave the little teen a hug from the back, resting her chin on the top of Elara's head.

"I think you should probably trust us more, no?" Cassarae blinked innocently.

Elara tried to put on the same innocent expression, but it was plain that while she was good at being mischievous, acting wasn't her forte, and she was so unused to her brother being angry with her that she felt more uncomfortable than anything else.

Elara blinked.

Cassarae blinked.

Honestly, they expected that after it was pointed out to him, Sylas would just figure it out from there. His brain might shut off when it came to his sister, but it shouldn't be to this extent, right?

But Sylas really couldn't understand. Even if Elara gained Infinite Will, it wouldn't be enough. She would have had to gain True Infinite Will, a Will a step above Sylas' own right now, in order to split her Will and not experience any slow deterioration.

Even if Sylas formed a clone right now, if he got too far away from it, the energy of the Will he gave it would slowly drain until the clone died because he didn't have True Infinite Will. Honestly, Sylas wasn't even sure if True Infinite Will would be enough, that was just his own guess and speculation.

But there was no way Elara's Will was even at Sylas' level, let alone beyond it. Even Cassarae's wasn't. It was just that Cassarae's Will had evolved in a very unique, novel sort that made it nearly on par with his own.

There were too many disadvantages to being 15 years old to have such a high level Will, the first hurdle of which being, well... immaturity.

The only way for Elara to pull this off was an incredibly unique method, and suddenly Sylas was very interested to know.

Would this be the first time his little sister truly impressed him?
