The moment I opened my eyes, the first thing I noticed was the pain at the back of my neck.

Did someone strike me from the back?

I suddenly remembered an unfamiliar woman who had told me that she knows the way back to my pack while I was currently taking out the chains that wrapped on my wrist and ankles-even breaking my own bones just to slip free-felt them splinter and bend unnaturally beneath the

restraints.

When my hands finally came loose, I tore the shackles from my ankles as if they were nothing more than brittle vines.

I couldn’t even remember what I was doing in the cell but it seemed that my enemies had managed

to get me.

I tore the prison with my bare hands, disregarding that my hands had been dislocated from the process and left that place.

While walking, an unfamiliar woman with strange crimson eyes appeared in front of me, saying that I needed a treatment otherwise Scarlett would worry.

Scarlett?

Who’s that?

It seemed to be the name of a woman.

However, I couldn’t seem to remember that name-yet I don’t know why but my heart beats faster when it hears those names.

Strange.

I frowned and tried to ignore these strange feelings in my body.

I told that woman to leave me alone since I still have to kill the enemy who dared to put me in that dirty foul basement that was covered with blood–and most of it was my blood.

But before I could take another step, the unfamiliar woman suddenly appeared in front of me.

I barely had time to react.

Pain burst behind my eyes, sharp and blinding. My body went limp instantly, strength draining from my limbs as if someone had severed the strings holding me upright.

The last thing I felt was the cold floor rushing up to meet me.

Then everything went black.

I rubbed my temples, and looked at the child who claimed to be my son.

Whose prank was this? I don’t even have a mate nor I remembered getting drugged to sleep with a woman either.

So when did this child come from?

I couldn’t help but take a closer look at the child named Archer. And now that I take a closer look at him… he really seemed like a mini version of me and another woman.

Is it that Scarlett that the woman had said earlier who would get worried about me if I don’t get my wounds treated?

“What’s the name of your mother?” I coldly asked, staring at him whose eyes and nose were red.

I frowned, taking out a handkerchief from my pocket and handing it to him which the other kid took and helped Archer wipe his face.

“My mama’s name is Scarlett Winter Nightshade,” he mumbled. “Do you remember her, papa? She’s your Luna?”

As expected, the moment I heard those names, my heart thumped wildly as if every of my cells acknowledged that she’s my Luna despite I couldn’t remember anything.

However… Scarlett Winter.

Isn’t she Alexander’s mate?

How come she suddenly became my mate?

I squinted my eyes at the child who was looking at me with hopeful gazes and nervousness, while the other child was just looking at me calmly.

“And who are you?” I asked. “Don’t tell me you’re my son either?”

He shook his head. “My name is Claude. I’m not your son.”

“Are you Scarlett’s son?” I asked.

Did Scarlett and Alexander have a son? I don’t know why but I don’t like that idea.

The idea that someone else had claimed her. Since she’s my mate, then she’s supposed to be mine.

However, Claude shook his head that made me breath out of relief,

“I’m not Scarlett’s son either.”

I nodded. “Where’s Scarlett?”

I want to meet her to clarify what is going on.

Claude shook his head, averting his gazes. “I… I don’t know what’s going on with the Luna either. However, since Aunt Agnes was there… it means that Natasha was there to save her.”

Agnes. Natasha.

I couldn’t help but frown. Given that my mate needs saving, it means that something happened to her.

Is it related to where I was captured and held on the cell?

I stood up and was about to leave the room when Claude move faster, blocking the door.

‘What are you doing?” I coldly asked. “Move.”

If something happens to my mate, I know I wouldn’t like it.

Archer, the one who claimed as my child ran after me and hugged my legs. “Papa, you can’t leave

yet.”

[ frowned, looking at him. “Why not? I’m fine. Do you want something to happen to your mama?”

Hearing my words, he froze and slowly let go of my legs and I glanced at Claude who coldly looked at me before moving away from the door.

I nodded my head, pleased by how obedient they are.

I was about to open the door when someone opened the door first, showing Kathleen whose eyes were red and upon seeing me, she throw herself at me.

‘Brother!” She called out hoarsely while wiping her face on my chest. “I…I thought something happened to you…”

I was about to speak when another Alpha appeared, gently patting Kathleen’s back as if to comfort him.

Seeing this, I frowned, glaring at that Alpha.

“Who are you? Why are you touching my sister?”

Kathleen seeнred to froze from my arms and let go of me, looking at me in shock.

“Y…You… You don’t remember?”

I frowned. “Who is he?”

Kathleen gasped. “You lost your memories?!”

“That isn’t important,” I frowned, glaring at the Alpha behind her. “Who is that man?”

“He’s my mate and we have been together for almost a three years now,” she answered naturally that made my eyes widened.

My eyes widened.

“You even approved it!” She added.

I approved it? When did that happen?

“You said that I should get an Alpha so that I wouldn’t have to be the third wheel of your romance with Sca,” she said, making me doubt myself.

I really said that?

“You’re not lying?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes. “Why would I lie when everyone here had witnessed how whipped and possessive you are when it comes to Scarlett.”.

Really?

My brows furrowed. “Isn’t she Alexander’s mate? The one from Crescent Moon?”

I watched as her eyes darkened and disgust flashed in her eyes. “Alexander cheated on her four years ago, parading his mistress whom he got pregnant and banishing Scarlett from the pack.”

r My eyes darkened. Fury ignited in my body. “Where is that bastard?”

The corner of her lips raised. “He’s dead now and Scarlett had severed her bond with that scum. She’s also the sole Alpha of the Crescent Moon right now. Also, she’s your Luna.”

“She did it all?” I don’t know why but upon hearing about it, I strangely felt proud.

Kathleen nodded her head, smirking. “Of course. She did the work, while you support her.”

I see. So it seemed that four years and half had already passed by and given my conversation with my sister, it seemed that Scarlett and I had been together for four years by now.
