After finishing everything, Caroline threw the horn of the mutant python into the air, urged on by Jasper.

At the same time, she tossed in all the mutant animal corpses she had collected from Tyler’s lab and stored in her space.

For a moment, Caroline watched as everything gathered together midair.

Then, it exploded, bursting into countless streaks of colorful starlight that scattered across the ground.

Raven and Jet, who had tasted these starlights before, darted freely through the glowing rain, chasing and swallowing as many of the shimmering lights as they could.

Jasper refused to lose, letting out a proud “meow!” before leaping up and down to snatch the floating lights.

The three of them looked like they were in some sort of competition, eating with wild

enthusiasm.

Especially Jasper and Jet–they were neck and neck, and at one point even crashed into each other over a golden light.

Jasper stumbled back, fur standing on end, glaring at Jet in outrage.

But Jet did not fare much better, spinning several times in the air before almost face–planting into the ground.

Only Raven stayed chill, lazily eating while occasionally smacking the other two when they got too rowdy.

Sitting on the grassy field inside the space, Caroline could not help but laugh at their antics.

When all the lights had finally dissolved into the space, she felt a strong tremor. Then, suddenly, she, Raven, and Jet were all thrown out.

But since she had been through this before, Caroline did not panic this time.

Instead, she was thrilled—this meant her space was leveling up again!

Thankfully, she had prepared plenty of materials in advance, knowing this upgrade would need more energy.

What she did not expect, though, was that she would end up waiting two whole days.

During that time, she stayed home, resting and goofing around with Raven and Jet while waiting for the space to stabilize.

She even cooked a bit and binge–watched some shows.

Lately, she had been watching an anime adaptation of a pre–apocalypse cultivation novel, and it had gotten so into Jet’s head that he kept calling Raven “fellow cultivator.”

Raven just gave him a deadpan look like he was the dumbest bird alive.

Then, one day, Caroline suddenly felt the familiar tremor again.

Excited, she rushed back into the space–only to be greeted by a soft, squishy figure leaping straight into her arms.

It was Jasper.

With bright eyes full of excitement, Jasper exclaimed, “Congrats, Master! The space leveled up twice in one go!”

Caroline’s eyes lit up–awesome! She could not wait to see what kind of upgrades had come this time.

Before her eyes, the space had doubled in size again.

The mountains near the healing spring had grown taller too.

To be honest, Caroline had only planted a few fruit trees there before–nothing much else.

There had not been any suitable crops yet, so the area always felt a bit wasted.

But now, after the upgrade, the mountain seemed somehow different. She would check it out later.

The biggest surprise, though, was the new pond that had appeared in front of Farm One,

which was about two acres wide!

Caroline had once dug a small pond herself and raised a few ornamental fish, feeding them spring water.

But to her disappointment, those fish did not taste good at all.

This time, though, since it was a space–generated pond, there was no way the fish would taste

Excited, she walked up to the pond. Jasper jumped down and rubbed against her leg twice, blinking those big eyes and whining softly, “Master, Jasper loves carp.”

Caroline bent down, picked Jasper up, and gently scratched under his chin. “Too bad there aren’t any fish right now.”

Indeed, aside from the few ornamental fish she had collected before the apocalypse, there were not any others yet.

Looking at the pond, she thought maybe she could try finding the old fish pond’s location outside. Maybe she would get lucky and catch a few mutant ones.

Jasper rolled twice in her arms, swiping a paw as if to say, Ugh, you’re so clueless.

“The new pond’s upgraded! You gotta open the system and check it out! There might be surprises.”

Seeing Jasper’s sparkling eyes full of expectation, Caroline already knew this new upgrade was not going to disappoint.

Raising an eyebrow, she walked over to the villa and opened the space interface.

The screen displayed: “NovaSpace 8.0“. It had indeed leveled up twice!

Caroline tapped to open it, and her eyes immediately lit up.

This time, not one, but two new functions had appeared.

“Vibrant Fish Pond” and “Natural Wildlands.”
