Caroline suddenly became curious about what the girl wanted to say. She reached out and pulled the cloth gag from the girl’s mouth.
The moment it came off, the girl started screaming curses. “Whore! You think you’re so powerful? Just wait until my dad gets back! You’re dead then! He’ll kill you, tear you apart, throw you into a pig farm, boil your bones-”
Before the girl could finish, Caroline calmly shoved the gag back into her mouth. This time, though, it wasn’t the clean cloth from before. The cloth came from Caroline’s storage space. It was a filthy rag used as bedding for the animals inside. The moment it came out, the sharp stink hit the air. It reeked of urine and waste.
The girl tried to keep yelling, but the smell rushed straight into her nose. Her face turned pale as she gagged and nearly threw up.
The mother grew frantic at this. She looked like she wanted to speak, her eyes filled with desperation. Tears streamed down her face.
Caroline removed the gag from Brittany. She immediately broke down, crying and begging in a trembling voice. “We were wrong! We were really wrong! Please let us go. She’s just a child; she didn’t know any better. We’ll stay far away from you, I swear! You’ll never see us again! I promise my husband will never come after you. Please don’t listen to Echo’s nonsense. She’s still a child. Echo doesn’t understand anything. She’s just acting out. She didn’t mean to go against you!”
Even now, Brittany still believed her child had done nothing truly wrong. This woman was beyond saving.
Caroline didn’t answer. She simply stuffed the gag back into Brittany’s mouth.
Brittany struggled with all her strength. Even though she was tied up, she forced herself onto her knees and slammed her head against the floor toward Caroline.
She was filled with regret–deep, burning regret
Brittany knew her daughter had been wrong. Bu as the saying goes, parents will do anything for their children. She wanted Caroline to show mercy. Brittany was even willing to take all the blame herself.
But Caroline gave her no chance to say another word.
“Tyler,” Caroline said calmly, “go bring Denton i
Tyler didn’t ask why. He left at once.

Caroline avoided the mother and daughter’s gaze and stepped into her storage space. She needed to get something.
The moment she entered, Jasper slithered over Happily, clearly hoping for attention and maybe a good review this month.
But Caroline’s next words froze him in place. “Bring me all the animal waste from the storage space.”
Jasper stared at her, stunned. “Caroline, what do you need that for? Did JunkEater upset you again?”
Poor JunkEater trembled in the background.
Caroline smiled lightly. “It’s for someone else who upset me.”
Jasper’s eyes
lit up;
he was overjoyed. “Oh! That’s great! Something fun is about to happen! I will watch it through the storage space!”
What shocked Caroline was this–Jasper brought out three large barrels of waste. All of it was fresh. Produced today.
Only then did Caroline realize why. This week, the storage space had randomly spawned hippos. Hippos ate a lot. And what they produced every day was on a whole different level.
Caroline’s lips slowly curled upward. For some reason, she suddenly felt like telling the storage space she loved it.
It really understood her too well. Every random animal it generated was just perfect.
Just as Caroline was about to leave with the barrels, Jasper shuffled over again, looking awkward.
“Um… actually… there’s one more.”
He placed a small bucket in front of her. The smell hit instantly, Caroline nearly passed out on the spot. It was unbelievably awful.
“This one’s from me,” he said proudly. “Very fresh!”
Then he ran off in embarrassment.
Anyone who’s ever owned a cat knows that smell
Caroline exited the storage space. When she reached the mother and daughter, she waved
her hand, and the barrels appeared.

Chapter 637 A Tooth for a Tooth
The stench exploded through the entire storage room in an instant.
And it wasn’t over yet. Tyler returned with Denton. He walked in cheerfully. “Caroline, you wanted to see me?”
One hour later, everyone waited outside the door. Denton finally came out, wearing a gas mask. He looked miserable.
Even his face was pale. He complained bitterly that the people inside had passed out from the smell. They were still lying in the filth. He asked Caroline what she wanted to do next.
Hearing this, Caroline finally felt her anger ease.
She thought of the cubs who had nearly died. She thought of Jet, soaked and miserable. She thought of Nelson, forced to work in protective gear. This wasn’t cruelty. This was returning harm with the same measure.
After a while, Caroline put on a gas mask and walked back into the room. The mother and daughter were already awake.
