The group walked around the animal skins many times. Even after looking closely, they couldn’t tell what kind of animal had changed into this.
‘Shedding skin usually means a creature is growing or getting stronger. The reports coming in from outside match this. The sandstorm is getting bigger and bigger,” Tyler said.
As soon as he finished speaking, Francis started cursing. “What on earth is this thing? How can its power be this strong?”
Their discussion led to no conclusion. Meanwhile, the tornadoes outside grew even more violent. The number had increased from our to six, as if they were about to grind the entire base to pieces.
Everyone got busy again.
Even Kay couldn’t sit still anymore. She had already come out of the building and was checking the situation outside with
everyone.
“If this keeps going, the base won’t be able to hold on for long,” Francis said with a frown.
He felt the danger, but he also felt a lot of pain. The government had spent a huge amount of money to build this place. Hornvale was supposed to be a test site for this large base, and nobody expected this to happen.
What they didn’t know was that, far away in the northwestern side, Shane was still facing off against that man.
Right now, Shane was collapsed on the ground like a pile of mud. But he stood up again.
You could see the bones in his arms and ankles sticking out. The sharp, white bones had poked right through his skin.
His body was so damaged that he couldn’t stand up straight, but he still tried his best to get up. His eyes were bright red as he glared at the man in front of him. He looked like he was staring at his worst enemy. “I’m going to kill you!”
He roared and tried to rush at the man one more time.
But the man just lightly moved his finger. Shane’s right leg, which was still mostly okay, suddenly snapped.
His calf bone broke and stabbed out through the flesh. He staggered and fell to the ground.
“Shane, serve me. How about we play with this world together? Why do you want to go back so badly?”
The man sitting above him was now dressed in a black robe. Yet in such scorching heat, he looked completely unaffected.
He hadn’t moved from that rock once. Even so, he still gave off a terrifying feeling of pressure.
Shane stood up again. He didn’t answer the man. In his eyes, there was only anger, obsession, and killing intent.
This time, his bones were twisted and flipped outward, but his leg were straightened.
It was as if new bones had grown through his legs to hold his body up.
A flash of pure rage appeared in Shane’s eyes, and he charged at the man again.
He failed again.

His whole body crashed into an invisible barrier. His skull cracked, blood splashing onto the unseen wall.
He fell to the ground like rotten mud.
He tried again and again.

Shane said nothing. He kept roaring. His body kept challenging its limits, appearing before the man in all kinds of forms that would have meant death for anyone else.
A cracked skull and broken legs were nothing to him.
His neck was almost snapped off. His body was broken in half at the waist, held together only by a layer of skin and blood that looked like red worms.
Flesh slowly peeled off his body. He looked like a monster, yet he was still moving forward.
The man watched all of this with surprise. He rubbed his chin, looking like he didn’t understand why Shane was struggling so hard.
Suddenly, he moved. This time, he stood up.
He looked at Shane and smiled. “You want to leave so badly because of Nelson, right? How about I bring him here for you to play with, and then destroy everyone else?”
Right now, Shane looked much shorter than before, but that was because his thighs were snapped in half.
He looked up at the man, appearing to think about the offer.
Before Shane could even answer, the man suddenly said, “I’ll take your silence as a yes. Let’s do it!”
But three seconds passed, and nothing happened.
The man frowned deeply, as if he couldn’t believe that he couldn’t even grab a single person.
After a moment, he suddenly said in surprise, “The Zero Space I created seems to have developed its own consciousness. Interesting…”
He suddenly looked at Shane with a smile. “Your name is Shane, right? I’ll send you back. You bring those people, including Nelson and my Zero Space, back here to me, okay? I’ll give you three months. If you haven’t done it in three months, this world can be destroyed along with me.”
After saying that, the man waved his hand.
Shane, who didn’t even look human anymore, simply vanished.
