Chapter 646 A Goose
Shane angrily shook off the mutant plant. But as he spun around, he suddenly locked eyes with a huge goose.

It was a snow–white goose, almost six feet tall. No one knew how long it had been trapped in the tornado, but it was still alive.
The moment the goose saw Shane, its eyes lit up–angry.
Anyone who has raised or seen geese knows this; geese are weird animals. They are very territorial and surprisingly brave.
And the worst part? Their tempers are terrible. They fight over nothing.
It doesn’t matter who you are or how you got there. If a goose doesn’t like you, it will chase you for hundreds of yards just to bite you hard a few times.
No matter how much you scream, beg, or fight back, the goose won’t stop.
In many rural areas, geese are basically a menace. They bully cats, dogs, and even people walking by.
This goose felt miserable after being tossed around by the tornado and wanted something to bully.
It had already attacked two rats, but they were too weak and died after a couple of bites.
Now it saw Shane. Those eyes instantly locked onto him.
Inside the tornado, with the strong spinning wind, Shane felt the goose fighting against the wind to move closer to him.
Luck favors the stubborn. A strong wind slammed the goose right next to Shane.
All Shane wanted was to leave–go back to that weird building and jump through the window.
And once he found Nelson, there’d be a cupcake.
But suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his arm. He turned and saw the goose biting down hard on his arm!
The goose’s eyes were full of rage. It stared at Nelson like Nelson was another male goose trying to steal his mate!
Shane grabbed the goose by the neck, his eyes flashing with anger.
He might not have been able to kill that mysterious man, but he could definitely handle a goose!
But before he could make a move, he felt something yank his body.
He looked down and saw a metal rope wrapped around his waist.
Before he could even react, the rope jerked hard, yanking him downward.
He was ripped right out of the tornado’s suction and dragged to the ground.
Boom! Dust exploded across the ground, forcing everyone nearby to step back.
Caroline pulled the rope back in. She had just used Tyler’s ability to pull Shane out of the tornado.

She noticed he had brought something big and white down with him, but the dust cloud was so thick she couldn’t tell what it was
ye!
“What the hell?! Damn it, what is this thing? it bites?!*
In the thick dust, Francis suddenly saw a huge red beak lunging at him.
He jumped back, but it still bit a chunk of his clothes.
Rillip! His shirt was shredded.
His strong waist and solid muscles were fully exposed.
The red beak kept chasing him, but even then, he sneaked a glance at Kay Kay, look over here, Kay! I’m shirtless. Check out my muscles?
But Kay wasn’t even looking at Francis. She and Caroline were staring at the… mess… on the ground.
“Is this even still a living person?”
Kay frowned.
Caroline didn’t say anything.
The Shane in front of them didn’t look like a human at all.
His limbs were twisted out of place–wrists bent backward, ankles snapped, kneecaps jutting out, thigh bones dislocated. His body was folded like a frog’s, but at angles no living person could endure.
His waist was even worse. There was a huge gash, the flesh torn open, and they could see his internal organs slightly moving as he breathed.
The sight made Caroline’s heart pound.
“He needs Nelson to fix him. He’s not dead yet,” Caroline said, frowning.
She knew about Shane’s self–healing.
With no other choice, Caroline put Shane into her space first.
Meanwhile, Francis was still fighting the goose.
Normally, he could have used his ability to deal with the goose quickly. But he intentionally dragged it out, making all kinds of exaggerated movements while wrestling with the goose.
