The sheer size of his bulge through his boxers made me stop what I was doing. My breath hitched, my eyes locked on the heavy, thick ridge straining against the fabric.
Fuck, he was really big.
I tried to suppress the thought, but if came anyway.
He was much bigger than Connor had ever been. Just looking at it sent a strange, fluttering heat low in my belly. I felt a lush creep up my neck, and I quickly scooted away from him, my heart hammering against my ribs.
I reached for the blanket, pulling it up to cover him again, trying to erase the image of that massive bulge from my mind 1 arranged the fabric over his body, but as I smoothed it down, I bit my lip hard. Even under the covers, the tent of his bulge was still there.
Gosh, I needed to get out of here.
“I’ll get you some medicine, okay?” I whispered, my voice unconsciously trembling. “I’ll be back.”
I tried to pull away, but I couldn’t move. His hand, large and scorching hot, had clamped around my wrist.
“Levi,” I said, my voice small. I tugged gently, but he didn’t let go. His fingers dug into my skin, enough to let me know he wasn’t letting me leave.
“Levi?” I said again, turning my body to see if he was okay. But the moment I shifted, the grip tightened and I was pulled forward. I gasped as I was yanked right into him, landing hard on top of his chest.
I froze, my chest pressing against his heaving ribs, my thighs straddling his hips. The heat radiating off him was staggering, like a furnace.
I could feel the hard, thick length of him pressing right against my center, the friction of his boxers against my thin clothes making me shiver.
“Levi, what are you doing?” I breathed, my heart racing.
He opened his eyes, but they weren’t the cold eyes I was used to. They were glazed, clouded with fever and darkness.
At that moment, it felt like he didn’t see me as hope; he seemed to be reacting to a need. He looked at my lips, his pupils blown wide, swallowing the iris until his eyes were almost entirely black.
Before I could even take a breath, he leaned forward. He slammed his mouth against mine with a bruising force that knocked the air out of my lungs. He groaned deep in his throat, a sound that was more of a growl than a human noise, and his tongue forced its way into my mouth, claiming me with hunger./
I gasped into the kiss, my hands flying up to his shoulders to push him away, but the moment his tongue swiped across mine, I whimpered, my body betraying me as I relaxed into him.
Levi reacted to the sound, his grip shifting from my wrist to the back of my neck, his fingers tangling in my hair and pulling my head back to gain a better angle.
He began to bite. He nipped at my bottom lip, hard enough to make me wince, before moving to the sensitive skin where my jaw met my ear. He sucked the skin there, his teeth grazing me, leaving marks that I knew would be dark purple by morning. He was like a monster, driven by an instinct he couldn’t control, treating my body like something to be devoured.
“Levi… stop…” I tried to say, but it came out as a needy moan.

Chapter 51
He began kissing me again. It seemed he had the lungs of a swimmer because he didn’t need to pull back in order to get some air. He was kissing me so expertly, so tastefully, that I wondered if he had really never been in a relationship before.
My body was quickly succumbing to the pleasure of his lips, and before I knew it, I had stopped fighting.
My arms slid from his shoulders to wrap around his neck, pulling him closer, wanting more of that heat. I arched my back. grinding my hips down onto the massive bulge in his boxers. He let out a snarl, his hips bucking upward, slamming his cock hard against my clit. I cried out, my head tossing back as a wave of pleasure crashed over me.
He went back to my lips, the kiss becoming even more frantic. He was chewing on my lip, his breath hot and ragged against my skin. He felt so strong, so dangerous, yet there was a desperation in the way he held me.
I wondered if he even knew it was me. Did he know he was kissing Hope, or was I just a warm body to soothe his fever?
The thought should have bothered me, but the sensation of his hard body beneath mine was too intoxicating. I froze, my heart still hammering, my lips swollen and tingling from his bites. I stayed there, draped over him.
“Levi?” I whispered, my voice shaking.
