Lyla was still screeching, entirely oblivious to the fact that Grant's face had turned a sickening shade of gray.
Cameras?
Shortly after Lyla had moved in, Grant had ordered his men to rip out all the indoor security cameras so the two of them could hook up anywhere in the villa without being watched.
That very fact had now transformed into a resounding slap across both his and Lyla's faces.
"Enough," Grant squeezed the word through gritted teeth.
Taking a deep breath, he ignored the woman practically vibrating behind him and walked straight up to Sienna.
He realized that she didn't look like a wife who had just been caught cheating, nor did she have the soft, clinging vulnerability she had shown over the phone. She was just staring at him as if he were a complete stranger.
A sudden wave of unprovoked irritation flared in Grant's chest, though he forced the temper down.
He softened his voice, adopting a sickeningly patronizing tone of indulgence. "Sienna, tell me why you smashed up her room. Were you jealous?"
However, Sienna just watched him in silence for a few seconds before answering plainly.
"I came back to pack something I left behind."
Denied the answer he wanted, Grant's temper finally exploded. He pointed an aggressive finger straight at Lucas and roared, "Then tell me, what the hell is he doing here!"
"If you're just getting your things, why did Lowery tag along?!"
Sienna didn't even blink. She watched Grant throwing his temper tantrum and just found the whole display exhausting.
How had she never realized before how utterly pathetic this man looked when he was angry?
"Grant, I think you're deeply confused about something," she said evenly, though her words cut deep. "Who I bring with me is none of your business."
Grant froze.
He simply couldn't believe Sienna was being this cold.
"None of my business?"
He let out a dark, furious laugh and took a step forward, reaching out to grab her wrist.
"You are my wife! You bring another man into my house, and you're telling me I don't even have the right to ask about it?"
