Sienna touched her own forehead; the heat radiating from her skin was alarming.

The face staring back at her in the mirror was deathly pale. Her lips were cracked, and her eyes looked hollow and sunken.

She turned on the faucet and splashed her face. The shock of the cold water helped clear her foggy mind just a little. She changed her clothes, smoothed down her hair, and took a few deep breaths before finally pushing the door open.

Eleanor was already waiting in the dining room. The moment she saw her, she frowned in deep concern.

"Sienna, why are you so pale? Are you feeling unwell?"

"Eleanor, I'm perfectly fine."

Unconvinced, Eleanor reached out to feel her forehead, but Sienna smoothly dodged her hand.

Not wanting the older woman to worry about her, Sienna quickly threw together a flimsy excuse.

"I'm really okay. I'm just a little exhausted from last night, that's all."

The moment she said that, the entire atmosphere in the room shifted entirely.

Grant, who had been eating, immediately snapped his head up, his gaze darkening.

Sienna noticed everyone giving her and Grant highly suggestive looks, and she instantly realized how her words had been misinterpreted.

She was just about to clarify that it wasn't what they thought, but Eleanor had already started scolding Grant.

"It's normal for young people to have high demands, but Sienna is carrying a child. You absolutely cannot be doing that anymore, do you hear me?"

Grant shot Sienna a look of absolute revulsion, grinding his teeth as he answered.

"I hear you."

After the meal, Eleanor ordered the staff to gather an enormous pile of health supplements and pack them all into the trunk of their car.

Before they left, she held Sienna's hand, looking completely reluctant to let her go.

"Sienna, whenever you have free time, please come visit this old woman."

"I will, I promise."

"Take good care of yourself, understand?"

"You too, Eleanor."

Grant stood off to the side like a total stranger. From start to finish, Eleanor didn't spare him a single glance.

Scoffing coldly, he didn't wait for Sienna and simply got into the car first.

"Mr. Gauthier, what position should I assign her to?"

"Grunt work."

Two brutal, efficient words.

Ms. Zeller blinked in surprise. The fact that the CEO himself had said "grunt work" made his intentions glaringly obvious.

He didn't care about this woman at all; she could be thrown into the worst possible corner.

Grant shot Sienna one last glance. "Eleanor told you to come here to learn, so you can start from the very bottom."

"Don't expect any special treatment."

With that, he turned on his heel and strode into his office, the heavy door clicking shut behind him.

Ms. Zeller looked Sienna up and down, her tone instantly dropping to freezing.

"Follow me."

Sienna was led to a desk tucked in the absolute deepest corner of the administration department. On top of it sat a massive, towering stack of old files that no one had ever bothered to sort. It looked ready to topple over.

"You need to archive all these documents first. Sort them by year and department. Get it done by the end of the day."
