Chapter 17
Scar’s POV
Dear Diary,
Turns out the guy I literally collided with at the grocery store last week lives in my building. Summer had mentioned there’s a gym up on the top floor–supposedly incredible, all glass walls and sky–high views–so today I finally went to see if she’d been overselling it.
She hadn’t.
When I stepped inside, only a few people were scattered around, and the whole city looked like it had been laid out just for the treadmill crowd. I kept my eyes to myself. The last thing I wanted was to be the weirdo who comes in and stares.
I did a quick five–minute walk on the indoor track, then spent forty minutes lifting, and finished with a five–mile run. By the end, I was soaked and buzzing, the good kind of
exhausted.
The locker rooms were unisex, with showers and stalls, split down the middle–men on one side, women on the other–in one giant space. After I’d showered, I headed back toward my locker with nothing but a towel around me.
And that’s when I saw Milo.
He noticed me at the same time and gave me this easy, knowing smile. He had a towel low around his hips, and–Dear God–he looked unreal. All hard lines and muscle, an eight–pack, that sharp V disappearing beneath the towel like it was pointing to trouble. I wanted a much clearer look at what was under there. For a beat we just stood, staring each other down like we were doing it with our bodies instead of our eyes.
Then reality snapped back into place.
We were alone.
So I decided I might as well talk to him, and I was so, so glad I did.

“Oh–hey,” I said, trying for casual. “Milo, right? I didn’t realize you lived here.”
“Scar. Nice seeing you again.” His voice was warm, familiar already. “Yeah, I’ve been here
about two years. How are you liking the neighborhood?”
“I love it. I’m on week two, and honestly? I’m relieved I chose this place to start fresh.”
His smile widened as he came closer. I didn’t pretend not to look this time; my gaze took
him in like I was hungry. The towel didn’t hide much. There was a definite bulge, and I
swallowed hard.
It twitched.
I jerked my eyes up and met his bright green stare.
“I’m really glad you picked this building too,” he said. “So–you’re staying with a friend, and
now you’ve met me. Have you met anyone else here yet?”
“Not in the building, no. But Summer introduced me to her friends–Gavin and Maisie. We
went to Club Zero this weekend.”
“I know Summer,” he said. “She’s sweet. And Club Zero–nice. Did you sign up?”
“I did. Yearly membership.” I tried not to sound too eager. “I want to check out the other
clubs too.”
His head tipped slightly, like he was considering me. “Yeah? Maybe we should hit one
together sometime.”
As he said it, his hand lifted. His fingertips skimmed my left shoulder, then drifted down my
arm with a slow, deliberate touch.
Heat unfurled low in my belly and shot straight to my clit.
His fingers traced my wrist, and then he took my hand. He brought my knuckles to his
mouth and nipped at them gently. My pulse kicked. My clit throbbed hard enough I felt it in
my thighs.
I must have made some little sound because he gave me a smug half–smile, then slid my index finger between his lips and sucked.

“Holy shit,” I breathed.

It hit me right between my legs. I was instantly, embarrassingly wet. When I glanced down,
his towel had lifted into a clear tent.
“Want to do something about that?” he asked.
God, yes.
“I don’t have any protection on me,” I said, quieter.
He leaned in like he was sharing a secret. “Then let me eat you first,” he murmured, “and after that you can take care of me.” His teeth closed lightly on my fingertip. I yelped, eyes
wide.
And I nodded.
What was I doing? I had just agreed to oral sex with a man I barely knew. A stranger.
Except… why did that matter? People hooked up with strangers all the time. Why couldn’t I?
He pulled me closer, and then his mouth was on mine. I whimpered as his tongue met mine, pushing, teasing–like he already knew exactly what I liked. He pressed his body against me and rubbed, and I could barely think past the friction.
Some part of me registered the setting: the middle of a locker room, where someone could
walk in any second.
I didn’t stop.
He guided me backward until my spine bumped the lockers. Then he dropped down fast, on his knees, and yanked my towel away.
Cold air kissed my skin. My nipples tightened instantly.
Milo made a low sound, almost a groan, and leaned in. He took one nipple in his mouth and tugged hard enough to make my breath stutter. My hands flew into his hair, gripping, holding him there.
He switched to the other nipple, giving it the same attention, then kissed his way down my stomach like he was taking his time on purpose.

His hands slid under my ass. In one smooth motion, he stood, lifting me.
I squealed.

He hooked my legs over his shoulders and pinned me up against the lockers like I weighed
nothing. Then his face disappeared between my thighs.
The first lick was slow and long–entrance to clit–like he was mapping me. And he wouldn’t stop making those rough, hungry sounds as he worked, the vibrations jolting straight
through me.
The wetter I got, the louder he got.
“You taste so fucking sweet,” he said against me, voice muffled and wrecked. “I’ve never
had someone taste like this. Fuck, you’re gorgeous. You’re a treat.”
And then he went right back in.
His tongue pushed deeper, filling me, thick and relentless. He was eating me like he’d been starving. My moans bounced off tile and metal; the sound should have embarrassed me.
It didn’t.
I didn’t care if someone walked in. Not then.
The orgasm hit hard–sharp and rolling–ripping through me until I cried out. My fingers clenched in his hair, and my hips rocked against his mouth without permission. It felt too
good to be polite.
He kept licking, slower now, as I trembled down from it.
When my legs stopped shaking, he lowered me carefully to the floor. He looked up at me, grinning like he’d just won something.
“That was… insane,” I said, still breathless. “I’ve never had anything like that.”
His brows lifted. “Seriously? Your ex never did that?”
“Never.”
“Then he was a damn idiot,” Milo said. “Because, doll, you taste incredible.”

His erection was pushing past the towel now, thick and unmistakable. Holy shit–he was
big. Girthy. My hand wrapped around him and squeezed.
He moaned and tipped his head back.
I started to lower myself, ready to return the favor, but he caught my wrist.
“Not today,” he said, voice tight. “Next time, beautiful. I have to go.”
He leaned in and kissed me quickly. I tasted myself on his mouth, and it made my stomach
flip.
When he pulled back, I licked my lips.
Milo groaned like that was torture. He rested his forehead to mine for a second.
“Next time,” he whispered.
And then he left.
I watched him walk away, still stunned.
I stood there for a full minute, dazed, trying to process the fact that I’d just had the best oral orgasm of my life in a gym locker room. I had never–never–done something like that out
in the open.
This building was doing something to me.
And I thought I liked it.
I dressed fast–cotton shorts, T–shirt–and headed back to Summer’s apartment. She was finally awake, and she’d already put together breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, toast,
orange juice.
“Hey,” she said, turning as I came in. “Did you already hit the gym?”
“Yeah,” I said. “And I also got my pussy eaten before I came back.”
Her jaw dropped.

She froze with a plate in one hand and a glass of orange juice in the other, staring at me
like I’d announced I’d joined a cult.
“Tell. Me. Everything.”
So I did.
She shrieked with delight while we ate.
“Oh my God,” she said, nearly vibrating. “Milo–the Greek god on your floor–ate you out this morning in the locker room? You slut. I’m so jealous. I’ve been eyeing him forever.”
Panic flashed through me. “Wait–no. I’m sorry. I didn’t know you were into him. Now I feel gross.”
Summer waved it off instantly. “What? No, babe. No. I don’t like him like that. I mean–yeah, he’s hot, and I wouldn’t say no if it happened, but I’m not pining. You’re fine.‘
I exhaled hard. “Thank God. I don’t want to be the other woman.”
She gave me a sympathetic look and nodded.
“So,” she said, changing gears, “what do you usually do on Sundays?”
”
“Sometimes I go to the movies with Gavin and Maisie,” I said. “Or we do the beach.”
Her eyes lit up.
“Can we do that? I brought my bikini.”
“Yes,” I said, suddenly energized. “I’ll text G and M and see if they’re in.”
I couldn’t stop smiling. Sun and water sounded perfect.
I darted to my room to get ready. A full day outside was exactly what I needed.
