Rage boils in my veins, hot and relentless. Dylan–that bastard–loses our girl. He floods my phone and Logan’s with frantic message after frantic message, panicking and telling us that Natalie leaves. He says Scar goes to speak with her, but then, a couple of hours later, Scar texts and says Natalie is gone.

Scar gives him only a hint, saying it’s somewhere that gets very cold during winter. That still leaves countless places she could run to. But what neither Scar nor Natalie realizes is that I have connections in places they would never suspect. “How?” he asks, staring at me like he can’t believe it.

“I already have a month off because of the holidays. I need a break, and I plan to use this time to get to know Natalie a little better. I don’t expect I’m going to have to track her down. What the fuck

“I screw up. After you two leave, she starts talking about our relationship. She says it’s obvious neither of you wants her, and she knows I want a relationship with you guys and also with a woman, so she decides she’s going to remove herself so we can find a woman all of us feel attracted to. I laugh, and I think she believes I’m laughing at her, so she takes off. I find her passed out in the trees around the club. “I make sure my leave gets approved. The Chief is a romantic, so he grants it. I think we give her a few days–let her rest and settle in–and then we go after her. I say we wait four days before we leave. If she’s in Maine, we need supplies. It’s going to be cold as fuck there. We need the right clothes. I nod and glance at Logan. He nods too. Then he flashes a wicked grin.

“I’m going to pray we get snowed in. I hear Maine gets brutal in the winter. A cabin in the middle of nowhere, with no one else around? That sounds like we can have a lot of fun with our girl. I’m packing some of my special toys.”

“I say we edge her. We deny her release at least three times–maybe four,” Dylan says.

I grin. My brothers come up with good ideas. But then again, so do I.

“I want to make her come again and again until she passes out. We edge her first, and then we make her come so much.”
