Chapter 98 So We Can Destroy Him
Scar’s POV

Hot jets of his release stripe my stomach, my belly, painting my skin white. Pulse after pulse. His eyes gleam with primal satisfaction as he looks down at his work. Then his hands are on me, spreading his cum, rubbing it into my skin. He massages it over my stomach, then up, circling my breasts, marking every inch.
“Mine, Scar,” he whispers, the words a raw vow.
Tears spring to my eyes, blurring his face. He makes me feel claimed. Treasured.
A shadow falls across the bed. Milo stands beside us, a damp washcloth in his hand. A gentle, knowing smile plays on his lips.
“Hi, baby,” he says, his voice soft. “Did you enjoy the show?”
I stretch, languid and spent, as Jace begins to gently wipe my skin. His attention remains fixed on my peaked nipples.
“I always love watching you tw

I turn my head to look at Jace, who is still watching me with that intense, smoldering focus.
“Not that I’m complaining,” I say softly, reaching up to touch his jaw. “But what’s going on with you, Jace? You seem… so intense tonight.”
He captures my hand, presses a kiss to my palm. His eyes are serious, full of a yearning that goes beyond the physical.
“I just love you so much,” he says, the simplicity of it profound. “There’s something I want to ask you.”
“Okay?”
“You remember that conversation we had? About how many babies you wanted?”
A flicker of understanding stirs in my chest. “Yeah?”
“Well,” he says, his thumb stroking my cheek. “When do you want to start having them?” His gaze drops to my belly, then back to my eyes, blazing with naked hope. “Because I’ve got to tell you, Scar. I want to see my seed take hold inside you. I want to watch your belly grow round with my child.”
I look at Jace. I feel that same desire. I am twenty–five years old. I am ready for a child. Yet I need to be certain this is a lasting arrangement. I fear they will grow weary of me. A tattoo is something you can have removed. They might determine I am not, in the end, what they truly desire. I turn my gaze

“I want that. I want it with a deep ache, but I also cannot bear the thought of being left behind if both
of you decide you no longer want me,” I say in a whisper.
Milo releases a heavy sigh; I shut my eyes, the sound so full of disappointment.
“Hey, baby. You need to hear Jace and me. We want you today, tomorrow, in a month, in a year.”
“We want you permanently, Scar. I am not sure what else we can say or do to prove to you that we will
never walk away from you,” Jace states.
“We have no intention of repeating what happened with your dad, Hale, and your mother. You are our
final choice. If you ever attempt to leave us, we will find you, bring you home, and keep you chained to our bed. There is no running away, baby,” Milo says.
“That ought to frighten me, but instead it does not,” I giggle.
“Good. Now, let’s everyone go take another shower. I am really wanting steak and a baked potato with
everything on it. Jace will be grilling on the balcony. I have already put the potatoes in the oven. They
have twenty minutes remaining,” Milo announces.
While we eat, I share with them the invitation to the beach house, updating them on all the drama
involving Maren and Gavin. They enjoy a good gossip session just as much as I do. Then I tell them
about Natalie’s weekend.
“She would murder me if she knew I told you both, but I value your perspective. Why would Dylan
explain to her how he and his adoptive brothers have shared everything since they were kids, but then
they behave as if they have no interest in her?”
“Perhaps that is not what he intended to imply? Or it might have been a test to gauge her reaction
around them,” Jace suggests.
“Yes, that is a possibility. Unless they do wish to share her, and they were checking whether Dylan had brought it up yet. Since she, I assume, never mentioned it, she is naturally confused as well?” Milo
asks.
“Exactly. She was definitely under the impression Dylan wanted to share her with them.”
“My guess is they were simply evaluating her. They do not know her. That was their first time meeting. Tell her to allow a few more visits. Maybe they are simply waiting for the right moment,” Jace advises.
“That is very good advice; thank you, baby,” I say, leaning over to kiss his cheek.

“So, I received a call from Mama Cici, Brennan’s mother. She told me Brennan panicked when he understood what he had done to me. He said to her he was leaving Montana to come here, to apologize and possibly try to win me back,” I explain, fidgeting with the half–eaten potato on my plate.
“Let him come. That way, Jace and I can destroy him,” Milo says.
His remark surprises me. I have never witnessed a violent side of Milo. My eyes open wide. I feel
somewhat aroused.
“Destroy him? I would not want either of you to face trouble because of that worthless person,” I reply.
“Baby, Milo and I will not face any trouble. We will ensure that. Nobody touches or harms what
belongs to us. You will understand what I mean very soon.”
Now I am truly confused. What did Jace mean by that? I do not have to wait very long to find out the
answer.
