Finally, one friend, fed up with his pestering, gave him a number. “This is the public contact for Stella’s studio,” he said coldly. “If you have something to say, contact them yourself.”
Felix clutched at it like a lifeline and immediately dialed the number.
The call connected, and a young, calm, professional female voice answered, “Hello, Stella Winter’s studio.”
“I need to speak to Stella! This is Felix Vance!” He said urgently.
There was a second of silence on the other end, then a clear, distant response. “I’m sorry, Mr. Vance. Miss Winter’s schedule is currently full, and she has explicitly stated that she will not accept any private contact from you. If you have a business proposal, please send it to the studio’s email address. For any other matters, please communicate through our lawyers. Goodbye.”

The dial tone buzzed, like a sharp slap across Felix’s face.
