He Never Loved Me Until the Day I Finally Left Him novel Chapter 961

By the time Sebastian finished his work and returned to the master bedroom, it was already 2:10 AM.

Helena was asleep, completely silent, her breathing even.

He walked over to the bed and looked down at her, a profound tenderness in his eyes.

With his long fingers, he quietly pulled the blanket up over her.

She shifted slightly but didn't wake up.

He didn't make any further moves.

He watched her for a long time before finally getting up to take a shower.

After his shower, he settled onto the sofa.

Just being in the same room with her made him feel completely content.

Soon, he fell into a deep sleep as well.

Morning arrived.

Perhaps because she had finally gotten enough rest, Helena opened her eyes at six o'clock.

The room was completely silent.

She frowned at the unfamiliar surroundings for a moment.

Then the memories of yesterday flooded back, and she remembered what had happened.

She didn't make a sound.

But her slight movements were enough to immediately wake a highly alert Sebastian.

He looked over at her. "Why are you up so early?"

"I guess I slept enough," she answered honestly.

Sebastian hummed in acknowledgment. "What do you want to eat? I'll make it."

Skye and Kyle were on holiday break, so they didn't have to wake up early for school.

"Skye and Kyle said they wanted to go to Universal Studios, but with your leg, it's not a good idea right now. We'll postpone it. Want to just go for a walk somewhere nearby in The Capital?" he asked, seeking her opinion.

He was already out of bed.

He wasn't wearing a shirt, his sculpted chest completely exposed to the air.

But he didn't seem to care.

Helena wasn't going to be prudish about it.

There wasn't a single intimate thing they hadn't already done.

Being shy now was pointless.
