My brain was still buffering when the dashcam jumped to a new scene.
A girl climbed into the passenger seat. Young–high school young.
She chirped at Finley, voice all sugary. “Where are we eating today?”
I stared at her pale neck on the screen, stomach dropping.
Finley’s mistress was HIS STUDENT?–
Finley smiled, voice dripping with affection. “That fancy steakhouse I booked. But first, let’s pick up your mom.”
The car pulled up to an apartment complex. The girl hopped into the back.
A woman slid into the passenger side–blonde hair, body–hugging dress showing off every curve.
The girl bounced in her seat. “Mom, you look so hot today. Mr. Hayes is gonna lose it.”
The woman’s voice was soft, almost shy. “Hush, Tina. Don’t be silly. Mr. Hayes is driving.”
But her ears turned pink, and she snuck a glance at Finley, clearly fishing for his reaction.
I love it Sienna, you look stunning.”
so Finley’s affair wasn’t with the young girl Tina, but with her mother–that old woman called Sienna?!
fast-forwarded-
inley dropped Tina off at boarding school after dinner. Just the two of them left.
le parked in an underground lot, then kissed her–hand gripping the back of her head, pulling her in hard.
hey went at it like animals.
he windows fogged up. The sounds filled the car. The whole vehicle started rocking.
Does that feel good?”
Yes… faster!… Ah-”
hen Sienna’s hand slammed against the window, leaving that handprint.
watched the whole thing. The nausea hit.
hoved the door open, stumbled out, and threw up next to the car–even the leather smell made me gag.
ears streamed down my face, but not from sadness–I was fucking pissed!
