Sarah frowned and was about to speak, but Nina held Sarah’s hand to stop her.

Vivian’s face went ghostly pale.

She’d never be able to erase that memory, not for the rest of her life. It was exactly because she couldn’t forget that she wished Nina would just disappear.

She never had the guts to kill Nina herself, so she took her to that mountain where no one ever came back, and left her there.

She thought she was finally free of Nina, the living nightmare she could never shake. But she never imagined Nina would

come back.

To Vivian, Nina was the biggest failure of her life. Not just because Nina wasn’t smart, but also because she was vicious and downright bloodthirsty.

That was why Vivian had tried every trick in the book to drive Nina out of her life for good.

She figured that after all the suffering Nina had gone through out there, even if she couldn’t change her violent streak, at least she wouldn’t resort to murder again.

But she really did catch a cold, deadly look in Nina’s eyes just now, a look that said she was ready to kill.

As Sarah listened to Nina, her heart ached.

She knew exactly what Vivian had put Nina through. That was why she brought Nina to live with her and tried to raise her right. But she never thought Nina would actually want Vivian dead.

Their expressions changed in an instant.

Then, Nina pointed straight at Martin, her finger landing right in front of his face. “Let’s start with you, Mr. Swanson. Hope you’re ready for payback.”

Martin’s face went pale, an uncontrollable wave of panic rising up inside him. But it wasn’t just panic. He was straight-up terrified. He genuinely believed Nina would send him straight to hell with a single kick.
