Another guest chimed in, “Could the manager have messed up? Nicholas has never even shown his face in public. Maybe he just got the wrong guy.”

“Seriously? Grand Crest Hotel wouldn’t screw up something this big. They must’ve checked a hundred times. And look at those dishes. They’re nothing like what we’re eating,” someone else retorted.

“Doesn’t anyone else think the Swanson family is giving Sarah special treatment? We’re all here for her birthday, but we just get an ordinary chef, while Sarah gets the head chef from the National Meals cooking for her table,” someone grumbled

“Come on, have some self-awareness. Nicholas is a big deal. Do you really think you deserve to eat his food? Even the dishes at our table are better than what you get at top hotels, and you’re still nitpicking,” another guest retorted

“Alright, I admit it. I’m just jealous,” the first guest confessed.

The Swanson family just stared in complete shock, eyes wide and mouths hanging open.

Lily’s face was distorted with jealousy and disbelief.

She thought, ‘How many men has Nina managed to get wrapped around her finger?

‘And they’re all such big shots.

‘First Ryan, then the SN CEO, then Morgan, and now even the head chef from the National Meals? Seriously?

‘Are these guys out of their minds or what?’

Vivian and Martin were left completely speechless.

They wanted to say something about Nina, but what could they possibly say now?

Ethan thought, ‘No matter how easygoing Ryan is, there’s no way he’d invite the guy he’s competing with for Nina to Grandma’s birthday bash.

‘And as for the head chef from the National Meals, word is, he is a guy, too.

‘Is it really like they said? Does Nina actually know him or have some connection?

‘Man, that’s incredible.

As for Sarah, her whole table was so stunned that not a single word was spoken for what felt like forever.

It wasn’t until a voice came from the stage that they finally snapped out of it and looked over.

There was Elaine, standing on stage, with a mannequin right beside her.

Elaine stood on stage and said respectfully, “Mrs. Sarah Swanson, I’m Nina’s friend. This jewelry set is my birthday gift for you.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a few waiters brought over the gift Elaine had prepared and set it right in front of Sarah.

Sarah was so shocked that her mouth just hung-open.

Before Sarah could even get a word out, Elaine added, “And I’ve got one more birthday present for you. I’ll make you a custom outfit right here while you eat.”

With that, Elaine got right to work, designing the outfit on the spot.

After all the jaw-dropping surprises earlier, seeing Elaine on stage was just another normal thing for everyone.

Seriously, if Nina could invite all those heavy hitters, having Elaine here was no big deal.

“Didn’t Elaine go to Seabridge? Why is she back already?” Lily muttered, her brows furrowing in confusion.
