Martin let out a sigh of relief. He thought, ‘Even if Nina’s got fighting skills, so what? That doesn’t mean squat when it comes to real expertise.

But Henry cut him off. “What does the Swanson family’s future have to do with me? You really think that if I join in, the Swanson family’s gonna be mine?

“If you wanna go embarrass yourself, do it. I’m not signing up for that.”

Henry thought, ‘Everyone in the main branch, except for Nina and Ethan, acts like they are totally nuts.

‘Nina has already made it crystal clear she’s the chairman of SN Corporation.

‘But these people just wouldn’t believe a word of it.

‘Do they really think anyone can just waltz in and become the chairman of SN Corporation?

“Who says there’s no one left to compete? I’ll do it!” Lily stepped up. “I’m good at piano, I dabble in painting, and I’m pretty skilled in medicine, too.

“But since it’s tough to judge medical skills, let’s just stick to pian and painting. If you can beat me in either one, you win.”

Lily hadn’t wanted today’s welcome party to turn into a disaster, but things had already spun way out of her control.

There was no way she was letting Nina take over the Swanson family.

If that happened, she’d be totally sidelined in the Swanson family.

“I’ve been in business ever since I graduated. Let’s see who’s better at running a company,” Martin said.

“Sure, just tell me how you want to compete,” Martin said confidently.

He was still just a project manager, but that was only because he’d been deliberately keeping a low profile.

But now, with the Swanson family’s company at stake, he had to go all out.

Nina shot Martin a sidelong glance, her smile growing wider. “Brian, tell him who I am.”
