David tossed the knife aside, speaking in a chillingly calm voice. I’m not going to kill you. You’re not even worth it. I’ll make you suffer so much you’ll wish you’d never been born.

“Come with me!” He grabbed Yvonne and Elizabeth by the collars.

David had barely taken two steps when Edward called out, “I’m not done here yet. Where do you think you’re going?

David frowned. “Dad, this is between them and me. After all Minda’s suffered in this family. I’m going to make them pay for every single thing.”

Edward’s expression was calm. “I’m not dead yet. What, you think you can just take over running the family now?”
