Nina stood to steady her. Then she strode right toward Vivian, her entire demeanor shifting.

‘Nina’s got a crazy temper. No idea where she gets it from. When she’s fired up, she doesn’t care who’s in her way, not even her mother,’ Sarah sighed silently.

Nina stopped in her tracks and turned to Sarah. “She upset you.”

Sarah had been fuming, but Nina’s words made her chuckle. “Getting angry won’t kill me. Anyway, she’s your mom. Don’t hit her, okay?”

Vivian’s anger burned even hotter. “What, you want to hit me? You’ve got some nerve!”

She stepped up, challenging Nina. “Go ahead. Let’s see if you’ve got the nerve to lay a hand on me.”

Nina let out a cold laugh. ‘Seriously, I’ve never seen anyone so eager to get smacked. Now that she asks for it, I’m more than happy to oblige!

Without hesitation, Nina kicked towards Vivian.

Ethan saw things spiraling and quickly jumped in front of Vivian.

Nina moved so fast, and Ethan appeared so suddenly, that she couldn’t pull back in time.

Nina frowned, “What are you doing?”

Ethan pushed himself up against the wall, feeling like every single organ in his body was about to shatter’

‘Nina looks so tiny. How did she have that kind of strength?’ he wondered, confused. “That kick almost sent me to meet my maker.

Wiping blood from his mouth, Ethan sighed, “Hit whoever you want, just not her.”

These family dynamics are insane. If Nina went off on Vivian, this would blow up online in seconds, he thought.

He didn’t care if Vivian was asking for trouble. But he had to protect Nina.

Nina rubbed her temples, feeling frustrated. ‘How many times do I have to explain? I don’t give a damn about my reputation. I just want to protect the people I care about!

Seeing Sarah’s worried face, Nina sighed softly, She turned to Vivian. “Get out of my sight. You’re giving me a headache.”

Sarah was stunned. “The SN contract? What’s going on?”

She thought, ‘Didn’t everyone say Nina destroyed the deal with SN?

‘I never believed Nina would sabotage things, but our family’s deal with SN really did fall through.

‘So how does Nina have the contract?’

Nina shot Martin and Lily a mocking look and replied, “Don’t believe anything these two idiots say.”

Martin and Lily stared at the contract in Sarah’s hands, their eyes wide with disbelief.
