Elizabeth had anticipated this outcome. She took a deep breath, knowing it was time to play her final card.
She let out a slow, almost casual sigh before speaking. “I understand your regulations. But my situation is … special. My name is Elizabeth Schofield.”
She paused, giving the other side time to react, then calmly dropped the bomb. “The Kingdom Genetic Registry should already have this on record. I’m General Hewitt’s perfect genetic match. The Kingdom Central Sector Marriage Registration Bureau has issued a mandatory notice requiring me to arrive on Centria Planet on the 15th to complete the marriage registration with General Hewitt. If the registration fails because I can’t arrive on time due to lack of transportation, and the kingdom starts asking questions…
Her voice carried just the right mix of helplessness and shamelessness. “Well, I really don’t have a choice. That’s why I thought about catching a ride with you.”
Dead silence filled the line.
The person on the other end was clearly stunned by the sudden revelation.
The news that Cristian would register his marriage with his perfect match on the 15th had already spread across the kingdom through Starnet. Of course he knew about it.
But he never would have imagined that the mysterious female lead of the story, the future spouse of the War God himself, would be stranded on Garbage Planet A001 and calling him directly to ask for a ride.
The information was too shocking, far beyond his authority to handle.
“P–please hold on!” The voice had already switched from automated to human. The customer service agent sounded nervous, even respectful. I’m very sorry, Ms. Schofield. This matter is extremely serious, and I can’t give you an answer right away. I need to report this to my supervisors immediately. Please keep your line open!”
With that, the call was hurriedly transferred.
The recycling station’s management was thrown into chaos by the call.
Their first reaction was to question whether the information was even real
An exile claiming to be General Hewitt’s fiancée?

“If she’s lying, once she boards the spaceship, the identity verification system will catch it immediately. Dealing with an impostor would be easy for us,” one supervisor said calmly.
“But what if it’s true?” another supervisor countered, his voice heavy. “If we refuse her and she fails to complete the registration on time… offending General Hewitt’s future spouse is not a consequence we can afford.”
They couldn’t take that gamble.
They simply couldn’t risk that one percent chance.
After weighing everything, the risks and potential fallout weren’t worth it.
A few minutes later, the call connected again. This time, a male voice came through, deeper and noticeably more courteous.
“Ms. Schofield, hello. I am the director of the A001 recycling station. We have reviewed your situation. After an emergency discussion, we have decided to make an exception and provide you with this accommodation. Please arrive at Entrance Three of the recycling station at midnight on the 15th. Our service robots will escort you on time. Rest assured, we will deliver you safely to Centria Planet within the required timeframe and will not interfere with your registration with General Hewitt.”
“Thank you. Don’t worry, I’ll pay the appropriate boarding fee,” Elizabeth replied, pleased. Then she immediately asked, “So when will you be returning to Planet A001?”
The director seemed caught off guard by the question. He paused for a few seconds before answering, “Uh… the spaceship is scheduled to complete resupply and maintenance at around three p.m. that afternoon. It’ll depart immediately afterward and is expected to arrive back at Planet A001 at five p.m. But Ms. Schofield…”
He could not help reminding her, “According to the law, once your marriage registration with General Hewitt is completed, your exile sentence will automatically be nullified. You will have the full right to remain on Centria Planet.”
“I want to come back. Is that not allowed?” Elizabeth interrupted matter of factly.
The director was left speechless. After a long pause, he forced out a response. “Of course. Yes. That’s fine.”
After the call ended, the recycling station director immediately muttered to the customer service supervisor beside him, “I’d bet she’s a scammer desperate for money. Coming back after the registration? What sane person would give up the comfort of Centria Planet just to return to this barren A001 dump? Once she’s on the ship and her identity gets verified, she’ll regret it.”
