Briar walked out in a short black skirt, with zippers and and straps that hung from it, fishnets,

and a black halter top that left little to the imagination. The side boob and cleavage paired

with her exposed midriff had my primal instincts reeling. She had dried her hair and thrown

the wavy tendrils up into those messy space buns I loved so much. Cute and undeniably sexy.

My mouth fell open. Was I drooling? I closed it quickly.

“Surprise,” she said, a bit meekly.

I stood up from the couch and took her hand and spun her. Nothing but thin ties held the

fabric around her neck and across her back. I whistled. “I might have to fight Lana tonight.” I

admitted. Briar snorted, and it was cute.

“Too much?” Briar asked.

the truck.

empty box open on the coffee table as she nursed the last slice, sprawled out on the couch

with a beer in her hand. She paused, looking at us as we walked in.

“Wowzers!” she said, gaping at Briar. “I see why Carter prefers your company, and I don’t

blame him,” Lana said. This woman didn’t possess a filter. Mazzie cleared her throat.

“She’s half a case in already, forgive her.” Briar just snorted and shook her head in

amusement.

“Promise, Mazzie saved you some,” Lana said, patting her flat but full belly.” Mazzie snorted

and walked us to the kitchen, where three more and one partially uneaten pie remained.

“Take your pick, Vick makes the best pizza in town, if you didn’t already know,” she said to
