His 181St Second (Laverne and Marina) novel Chapter 611

Chapter 611

Stella bit her lip, her eyes locked on Albert as tears slid down her cheeks.

“I’m not Kamron’s girl, she said softly.

Her voice was barely above a whisper, laced with despair and pain.

But Albert didn’t spare her another glance. Instead, he turned to Elnora and said, “It’s getting late. Let’s head back.”

Elnora didn’t say a word. She just glanced at the disheveled Stella, then calmly looked away and nodded.

Albert gently took Elnora’s hand and placed it on his arm, then turned and walked away.

Stella watched Albert walk away, her tears streaming down uncontrollably.

Wren raised an eyebrow at Stella’s state, a hint of disdain flickering in her eyes. But unlike the others, she didn’t say anything cruel. She just walked away.

Albert is already married to Elnora,’ Wren thought, and there are plenty of eligible bachelors at this party. Plus, Stella had come with another man.

Instead of turning to her own date for help, Stella went straight to Albert. The ladies and socialites present could all see right through her intention.

She’s just so stupid. No wonder, even after all those years with Albert, she still couldn’t break free from the Taylor Family’s control.’

In their world, being stupid was a death sentence.

These high-society ladies couldn’t stand stupidity the most.

All Stella was good at was acting pitiful in front of Albert. Other than that, she was pretty much useless.

When Albert called him out, Kamron didn’t immediately head downstairs.

Kaelin leaned on the railing, glanced down at Stella, and let out a soft scoff before turning to Kamron.

Your date’s getting bullied. Aren’t you going to go down and stand up for her? It’ll be your reputation on the line in a noment,” Kaelin said.

But Kamron still had no intention of going downstairs. He picked up a glass from the table, took a slow sip, and said coolly. If even her ex doesn’t bother to help her, why should I?”

Hearing this, Kaelin fixed his gaze on Kamron and said coldly, “Since you knew Albert wouldn’t look out for her, why did you >ring her here? Were you deliberately setting her up to be humiliated?”

Kamron raised an eyebrow and said indifferently, “Honestly, I had no idea she was this clueless.”

Kaelin gave a cold snort. “Albert’s already married, yet you still brought her here and paraded her right in front of him What’s your angle?”

Kamron finished his wine in one swift gulp. Elnora’s cold, restrained expression lingering in his mind.

He swallowed the last drop and spoke with a careless tone, “I never thought Albert could be so heartless. After all those years, he just cut her off without a second thought.”

Chapter 11

Benedict walked over to Kaelin and patted his shoulder gently

‘Let’s go. Benedict said

Kaelin nodded, his gaze sweeping over Stella downstairs as she wiped her tears. He said coolly. “Albert can’t keep covering for her forever

‘If she doesn’t know how to use her connections and insists on staying stuck in the mud, why keep her around? Sooner or later, you’ll just get dragged down with her.”

Besides, Stella was the one who proposed the breakup at the time.

She thought she could manipulate Albert by doing so, but she never realized that people born into families like his weren’t so easily manipulated.

After saying that, Kaelin and Benedict left the private room together.

Benedict said to Kaelin in a flat tone. Why waste your breath on him?”

Kamron’s real target wasn’t Stella, Benedict thought. If he actually cared about her, he would ve stepped in the moment Stella started getting bullied by Arnetta.

However, his gaze never lingered on Stella. Instead, he seemed far more interested in Elnora than in Stella

“Maybe you should stop hanging out with him. Benedict said quietly.

Benedict had already guessed what was really going on, but he didn’t say it out loud. He just gave Kaelin this casual

reminder.

Hearing that. Kaelin smiled and placed his hand on Benedict’s shoulder.

“We didn’t really hang out much before anyway,” Kaelin said.

Benedict nodded and headed downstairs.

As they left, they walked right past Stella.

She stood there, her eyes red from crying.

No one there bothered with her.

She wiped her tears and made her way out of the banquet hall.

Just then. Kaelin and Benedict stepped out.

Benedict casually draped his jacket over Stella’s shoulders.

Stella looked up, her eyes meeting theirs as Benedict and Kaelin came out together.

She softly bit her lip and murmured. Thank you.”

Benedict said calmly, “No need to thank me. I’d help out even a random stray if I saw them getting picked on

“Cover up, you’re exposed.”

Hearing this, Stella lowered her gaze to glance at her own attire, a flicker of panic flashing in her eyes as she immediately

reached out to adjust it.

Till wash it and give it back to you sometime,” she murmured.

Benedict shrugged. ‘Don’t bother. Just toss it.”

Stella’s face went pale, and she bit her lip.

Benedict strode past her.

As he passed, he said in a flat tone. “Albert’s married now. If you still want to keep some dignity. Ms. Taylor, stop shamelessly chasing after him.”

Stella took a deep breath, her nails digging into her palms

She didn’t respond to Benedict, and he clearly wasn’t waiting for an answer He turned and left with Kaelin.

Kaelin’s voice was full of mischief as he turned to Benedict and said. “Do you think she’ll try to go after him again?”

Benedict shrugged. “Who knows?”

Kaelin grinned. “Wanna bet? I say she will.”

Benedict didn’t respond, and their voices faded as they walked away.

Stella struggled to breathe as she slowly walked toward the stairs, looking pale.

There was a time when Benedict and Kaelin both held her in high respect.

But since Elnora appeared, they chose to ignore her completely.

In her imagination, her life should not have been like this. Albert should have been at her beck and call, helping to prop up the Taylor Family and secure her position within it.
