Chapter 615
“Why should it be her?” Adrianna said.
She felt it was so unfair.
After all, Stella and Albert had been together for years, but ever since Elnora entered the picture, their relationship had started falling apart.
To Adrianna, Elnora was the real homewrecker who came between Stella and Albert.
If Elnora hadn’t shown up, Stella and Albert could’ve gotten back together ages ago.
Elnora only dared to mess with Stella because Reese was backing her up.
Upon seeing the embarrassed looks on her colleagues’ faces, Stella realized Adrianna was out of line.
They were ordinary folks working at Supernova Entertainment. No one would dare challenge Elnora.
“Adrianna, that’s enough. Let’s leave it at that,” Stella said.
Stella thought, ‘Some things are better left unsaid.
‘As long as everyone walks away thinking Elnora is nothing but trouble and downright vicious, it will be enough.
‘Saying too much will backfire.’
Adrianna understood what Stella meant. She let out a soft sigh and leaned in to whisper to her, “Stella, I feel bad for you, that’s all.”
Stella pressed her lips together, her voice barely above a whisper, and spoke with a sob, “Please, let’s not talk about this anymore. Albert and I… That’s all in the past now.”
As she spoke, Stella’s eyes rimmed with tears. She kept her head down and walked out of Supernova Entertainment.
Everyone watched Stella’s retreating figure, sympathy written all over their faces.
Elnora and Albert showed up at the mall together.
Since moving to Port City, Elnora had hardly ever gone shopping.
She’d been focused on getting better, so she didn’t have the strength to hit the stores.
Then she started working at Supernova Entertainment. She got so busy that she barely had a chance to shop anymore.
Elnora was always focused and purposeful. As soon as she stepped into the mall, she went straight to a staff member and asked where the riding outfits were.
Just as the staff member was about to answer, Albert cut in. “I know where it is. I’ll take you there”
Elnora nodded and trailed after Albert.
The mall was packed today It looked like they were running an event.

Chapter 615
Even though Elnora tried to stick close to Albert, the crowd kept pulling them apart.
Albert walked ahead, glancing back every few steps to make sure Elnora was still with him.
After pausing yet again to wait for Elnora, Albert held out his hand to her.
Elnora didn’t take his hand.
Albert reached out and took her hand anyway.
Elnora’s hand was soft and a little cold.
Albert gently pulled Elnora to his side and asked. “Why are your hands so cold? Are you feeling chilly?”
Elnora shook her head and replied, “No, I’m not cold.”
Her hands had always been like that.
Her hands were always cold, no matter the winter or summer. It made no difference.
Albert held her hand tightly as they made their way through the crowd.
The mall looked super high-end, and it was packed.
Elnora wasn’t used to malls being this crowded.
She quietly watched the crowd moving through the mall.
With this kind of foot traffic, the mall must be raking in a fortune every single day.
Elnora had a pretty good idea of what kind of mall this was.
t was trending online.
And it was famous all over the country, and everyone was talking about it online.
But for years, she’d been so busy with work that she never got to experience it herself.
she never expected her first visit to the mall would be with Albert.
BA VOUCHER
Albert noticed the subtle shift in her expression and leaned in to whisper in her ear, “This mall is a must-see spot in Port City. It draws people from all over the world.”
Elnora glanced up at him.
Albert met her gaze and smiled.
Ms. Finley, you’ve been in Port City for a while now. Since we finally have some free time, I wanted to show you around the andmark mall,” he said.
Elnora averted her gaze from Albert’s smiling face and said quietly. “The Campbell Group invested in this mall, too, didn’t
1?
Albert nodded. “Yeah. My mom has always had a sharp business sense
This mall has brought in a lot of profit for the Campbell Group.

Elnora nodded slightly. “Your mother is impressive.”
Albert smirked, leaning in closer to Elnora, his eyes full of playful warmth as he said. “You’re pretty amazing yourself
Elnora was just about to answer when a crowd suddenly piled into the elevator.
She ended up pressed right against Albert, their bodies practically touching.
Albert pressed a gentle kiss to Elnora’s forehead.
Elnora quickly looked away, feeling a bit flustered.
But Albert wrapped his arm around her waist, making sure she didn’t get pushed around by the crowd.
When they reached their floor, Albert guided Elnora out, making sure she was safe.
Once they stepped out of the elevator, Albert flashed Elnora a playful grin. “Ms. Finley, I bet you’ve never had to cram into an elevator with a bunch of strangers before, huh?”
Elnora nodded, straightforward as ever.
She hadn’t squeezed into an elevator with strangers. She hardly ever went shopping at all, not just recently, but for years. Her life was so packed and hectic, she barely had a moment to spare for things like shopping.
All her clothes came from select designer boutiques. Whenever she needed something new, she’d have them delivered straight to the Finley family residence.
Albert squeezed Elnora’s hand and grinned.
“Ms. Finley, you’ve been up in the clouds for too long. Sometimes you need to come down to earth and enjoy some of the simple pleasures of life,” Albert teased.
Elnora didn’t say anything.
She hadn’t really been living an easy life all those years.
After her grandfather passed away, she naturally took over the Finley Group. From then on, she lost her freedom, just grinding away like a machine.
Albert had always had his family to fall back on, so he wouldn’t get what it was like for her.
She didn’t say anything back. She stayed by his side, silent as ever.
Albert wasn’t in a hurry to get to the riding outfits. He was more interested in letting her explore the place with him
Elnora wasn’t in any hurry either.
