Albert’s gaze lingered on her as he walked over with his phone, standing beside her in front of the fitting room mirror.

He said, “Kaelin wants to get a riding outfit for his female companion and asked me for a recommendation.

‘This outfit looks amazing on you. How about I snap a pic and send it to Kaelin?”

Elnora nodded. “Go ahead.”

Albert held up his phone and started taking photos.

But instead of photographing Elnora alone, he positioned his phone to capture both of them in the mirror’s reflection.

As he took the photo, he lifted his hand and placed it gently on Elnora’s waist.

Elnora lowered her gaze. Seeing Albert’s hand resting on her waist in the mirror, she remained silent.

Albert quickly finished taking the photo and looked down to send the message.

Elnora looked away, stepped into the fitting room to change out of the riding outfit, then turned to the shop assistant.

‘Wrap it up for me,” she said.

The shop assistant nodded with a smile, took the riding outfit from Elnora, and wrapped it up for her.

Albert sent the photo he’d just taken to the guys’ group chat.

He sent the picture, without saying a word.

After that, he went into the fitting room to get changed.

When Albert came out, Elnora was already back in her own clothes, sitting on the sofa, and drinking water.

The shop assistant walked over to Albert, took the riding outfit from his hands, and began to wrap it up.

Albert absentmindedly pulled out his card and handed it to the shop assistant.

The shop assistant saw the card but didn’t take it. She smiled at Albert and said, “Mrs. Campbell already paid.”

Elnora’s eyebrows arched slightly at being called “Mrs. Campbell,” but she quickly relaxed.

Upon hearing that. Albert put his card away and smiled at Elnora.

Ms. Finley, don’t you know that when you go shopping with a guy, you’re supposed to use his card? Let him have a little pride, Albert joked.

Elnora glanced up at him, a hint of amusement in her eyes, and said, “I swiped your card.”

Back when they first got married, Albert had given her an extra card linked to his account for daily expenses.

But Elnora hardly ever went out shopping, so she’d never really had a chance to use it.

When Albert realized she’d used his extra card, he couldn’t help but smile For some reason, a sense of quiet selan washed over him as he finally had some worth in Elnora’s eyes.

Once the shop assistant finished wrapping up the outfit, she handed over the shopping bag

As Elnora reached out to take it, Albert beat her to it and grabbed the bag first

‘Let me,” he said.

Seeing this, Elnora let him take it and withdrew her hand.

After Albert and Elnora left, the shop assistants started gossiping in hushed voices.

‘Wasn’t there a rumor that Mr. Campbell and his wife don’t get along?” one whispered.

‘Honestly, they looked pretty sweet to me. Did you notice? Mr. Campbell seems like the one who’s always playing second fiddle to Mrs. Campbell,” another snickered.

‘Relationship aside, their vibe is perfect together. Such a handsome guy and a stunning lady, a third chimed in.

‘If there’s a next life, I wanna be as gorgeous as Mrs. Campbell,” someone sighed dreamily.

As they left the mall, Albert took Elnora through the VIP hallway.

Elnora followed Albert at an easy pace. Her eyes were calm as she glanced around the nearly empty hallway.

She didn’t bother asking why they hadn’t used this way earlier. She quietly walked with him into the underground parking

Albert stashed the shopping bag in the car, then opened the front passenger door for Elnora.

Elnora leaned in and slid into the seat.

Albert leaned over into the passenger side, reached for the seatbelt, and buckled it for Elnora.

Elnora leaned back in her seat, her icy eyes fixed on Albert, showing no reaction.

Suddenly, Albert moved his face closer to hers, and a hint of panic flashed in Elnora’s eyes.

Ms. Finley, are you that afraid I’ll kiss you?” Albert teased.

Elnora knitted her brows but didn’t answer.

Albert smiled and closed the passenger door for her.

He walked around the front of the car, got behind the wheel, started the engine, and headed for Southview Residence

On the way back, Albert made an effort to start conversations.

Their entire conversation revolved around work.

Elnora listened quietly, occasionally responding with a few words.

When they got back to Southview Residence, Albert pulled the car into the garage

As soon as he parked, he turned to unbuckle Elnora’s seatbelt.

But the moment the car stopped, Elnora had unbuckled herself, opened the door, and stepped out. She grabbed the shopping bag from the back seat on her way.

Belinda heard the car pull in and immediately headed over to the garage.

Seeing Elnora and Albert come back together, she smiled and walked over, reaching out to take the shopping bag from

Elnora.

“Ms. Finley, did you and Albert go shopping?” Belinda asked with a smile.

Elnora nodded. “We bought some riding outfits.”

Belinda grinned, “Are you going riding tomorrow?”

Elnora nodded. “Mm-hmm, we’re going to a friend’s riding club.”

Belinda’s smile stayed bright. “Is it the friend you met at the party last night?”

Elnora nodded slightly.

Belinda went on, “It’s good to get out and relax, and make some new friends.

“Do you know how to ride, Ms. Finley? Just be careful and don’t get hurt.”

Belinda and Elnora walked ahead, while Albert trailed behind.

As their conversation drifted back to him, Albert couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.

He’d always thought Elnora wouldn’t really vibe with the staff.

But seeing her like that, so easygoing and approachable, was honestly a surprise.
