1 year later…

“I’m so nervous Brooke!” Between the nerves and excitement, I feel like I’m about to pass out!

“I know how you feel sweetheart, I was exactly the same!” Her loving smile always warms my heart but it’s doing nothing to help my shaky legs.

“I can’t believe it’s been 4 months already; it’s gone so quick!” She nods agreeing before she fixes a stray hair that’s escaped her updo as there’s a knock on the door and my stomach dips as Joesph, Liam’s dad walks in looking smart in a three-piece suit and bow tie.

“Oh wow, Bethany you look incredible!” I love this man so much, he’s like a second dad to me and will always hold a special place in my heart.

“Thank you, Joesph, you look very handsome!” his kind eyes bore into mine as he steps up to me with his arm outstretched.

“Are you ready sweetheart?”

“As ready as I’ll ever be!” The butterflies in my stomach are torturous but I’m so ready for this moment!

Brooke, Katie, and Ashley step outside the room as I take a deep breath swallowing the last of my nerves before accepting Joseph’s arm as he leads me out of the bedroom and towards my new future.

As we reach the bottom of the stairs, Calvin, Jake and Jack are waiting for their mates along with Bella, Willow, Levi and Cami.

Everyone looks so beautiful and I couldn’t feel any more blessed to have these people with me today, to share this moment with me.

The men have nothing but love in their eyes as they watch their mates walk down the stairs towards them while the children are just excited to get started.

The music starts up and Calvin sends willow and Levi out first, hand in hand, so cute.

Jack then sends out Bella and Cami the same way before Calvin leads Brooke out, Jack leads Ashley out and lastly Jake leads Katie out. It turned out that Katie and Jake have the same birthday and they found out that they are mates and I couldn’t be any happier for them, they are perfect together and the past is the past, long forgotten!

Soon the passageway is empty, there’s only me and Joseph left, he looks down at me with his fatherly smile and it both warms and breaks my heart at the same time.

I wish my dad was here, he should be standing here with me now but I do love Joseph and aside from my dad, I wouldn’t want anyone else at my side right now! My fingers briefly touch the three rings hanging from my necklace, a part of my family is here with me today.

The music changes and it’s our cue to head outside, it’s a warm day which I’m grateful for, not that the weather would stop today happening, there’s nothing in this world that would stop or spoil today.

We start walking down the royal blue carpet that has been placed on the ground, blue and white petals lay at my feet and lanterns light along the edges.

It feels like a lifetime passes by as we continue to follow the blue carpet pathway, we turn a small corner to see so many faces looking our way, everyone full of smiles, happiness thick in the air.

I look up and the moment our eyes connect I lose my breath. Even now after 4 years his chocolate brown eyes still always leave me breathless!

My heartbeat picks up its pace and the butterflies kick up a storm in my stomach at the love I feel for him, that and how unbelievably handsome he’s looking right now.

He’s wearing a grey three-piece suit, white shirt and blue tie, his hair tied up in the bun man I love so much on him and it takes everything I have to fight back the arousal that wants to take over.

As our eyes stay connected, his beaming smile quickly brings out my own and the love in his eyes makes my heart flip, the whole world disappears around me and all I can see is him.

Soon we are standing face to face and I have to allow the world around us back in, Joseph places a fatherly kiss on my cheek as he gives Liam my hand before he takes his seat next to Mary. Calvin and Jack are standing behind Liam with Levi and Brooke, Katie and Ashley are behind me with Bella, Willow and little Cami sitting on Ashley’s hip.

I pass Brooke my flowers before looking back at Liam and soon enough I hear the words that I’ve been dreaming of for a long long time. The words that bind us, the 12 words that officially and legally make him mine.

“I now pronounce you man and wife; you may kiss the bride!” yessss!!!

Liam wastes no time in cupping my check and blessing me with the most toe-curling kiss of my life. “I love you my little wolf!” The nickname has never left us and I think I love it more and more every time I hear it.

Today has been incredible, one of the best days of my life! Finally, my mate has my name, finally, Bethany is my wife and f**k, I am one lucky bastard!

The moment I saw her walking down the aisle I thought my heart was going to burst out of my chest, an angel walking the earth came to mind as soon as I saw her.

Her long blonde hair sprawling down her back her natural waves dancing in the sun, I know she wore her hair like that because she knows how much I love it.

Her floor-length white bridal dress hugging her in all the right places before flaring out at her perfect a*s, her lace sleeves covering her silky smooth skin and true to herself she’s wearing the most minimal makeup that she can get away with and she looks like the goddess I’ve always known she is.

We’ve eaten, drank and danced for hours and as much as tonight has been incredible, now I want nothing more than to throw my wife over my shoulder, take her to our bedroom and kiss every inch of her perfect body.

I manage to last another hour but I can’t wait any longer and the lust-filled looks that Bethany keeps giving me tells me she feels the same.

She’s currently talking to my mom with a beautiful smile plastered across her face but as our eyes meet, a sexy smirk covers her face and then she bites down on her bottom lip and I snap.
