Chapter 739
Night slowly settled over Hong Kong beneath a curtain of light rain that dampened the city streets. Neon lights reflected across the wet asphalt, shimmering in restless colors, while inside one of the private clubs Don Falcon frequented, the atmosphere felt far livelier than usual.
Soft jazz music drifted through the corner of the room. Several wine bottles lay scattered across the table, some already empty, others left half-finished. A few intimidating-looking men stood guard around the room, their expressions alert and watchful.
Meanwhile, the man at the center of it all sat comfortably with a cigar between his fingers.
Smoke curled from Falcon’s lips, gradually thickening the air around him. He leaned back lazily while studying several photographs his subordinates had just sent over.
His gaze lingered on one picture longer than the others.
Naomi.
The girl stood in front of the Chen family’s main residence, a faintly confused expression captured from a distance. Lydia stood beside her, while not far away, Chen Kailun remained exactly as expected with that cold, unreadable face of his.
A faint smile slowly appeared on Falcon’s lips.
But what truly caught his attention wasn’t Naomi’s face.
It was the way the people inside that house treated her.
The next photograph showed several men bowing respectfully as Naomi walked inside. In another, an elderly woman had dropped to her knees in front of her while crying.
Falcon’s gaze gradually shifted.
“So what Mr. Zhao said was true.”
The man beside him lowered his head carefully. “We’ve confirmed it through several sources, sir. The girl is indeed being treated like the Chen family’s heir.”
Falcon chuckled softly.
The sound was low, but it still made several people in the room tense unconsciously.
“So Hong Kong has been hiding its greatest treasure right under Chen Kailun’s protection.”
He stared at Naomi’s photo again for a long moment before slowly leaning back against the sofa.
“No wonder he’s protecting her like a madman.”
One of Falcon’s men finally dared to speak. “Should we move faster, sir?”
Falcon didn’t answer immediately.
His fingers tapped lightly against the glass table in front of him. His eyes narrowed faintly, as though he was considering something far bigger than simply hunting down a young woman.
“At first, I thought Naomi was just some girl running away from debt,” he said at last.

“But now…”
The corner of his lips slowly curved upward.
“She’s far more valuable than I expected.”
The room instantly fell silent.
No one dared interrupt once Falcon showed interest like that. Everyone there understood one thing perfectly well. The more interested Falcon became in something, the more dangerous his obsession would grow. And once that happened, he would stop at nothing until he got what he wanted.
“Keep watching the Miller mansion,” Falcon finally ordered. “I want to know every single move they make.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Who leaves. Who enters. And most importantly, everything Naomi does.” His gaze fell back onto Naomi’s photograph once more. “I want to know what weakness I can use to take that girl back. Cale Miller can’t act as if Naomi belongs to him.”
One of the men hesitated slightly before speaking. “But I think Chen Kailun has clearly tightened security.”
Falcon let out a low chuckle. “No security is perfect.” His eyes darkened. “Especially when someone starts becoming too emotional while protecting something.”
“Yes, sir,” the man replied respectfully with his head lowered.
He quickly left the private room where Don Falcon was relaxing, but before he could fully step outside, Falcon called out to him again.
“Yes, sir?”
“I want to meet Mr. Zhao. Tell him we’ll meet in two days.”
The rain outside had grown heavier.
Falcon’s subordinate didn’t hesitate for even a second. Though the drizzle had already dampened part of his blazer, he kept walking without complaint, carrying out his master’s orders.
Because he understood one thing very clearly.
Don Falcon’s commands had to be carried out immediately.
Otherwise, his life would become the price for failure.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Hong Kong, the atmosphere inside Cale’s mansion was far calmer compared to a few hours earlier. Even though several servants still moved back and forth through the halls and guards continued sweeping the surrounding grounds, checking carefully for anything suspicious.
Exactly as Cale had ordered.
Security around Lydia and Naomi had been tightened even further.
Naomi had finally fallen asleep after spending the entire day overwhelmed by too many emotions and surprises. Lydia had also returned to their room earlier after making sure Naomi was alright.
