When we stepped up to the table where Leandro’s parents and brothers were sitting, Alena got up and pulled me into a hug. She didn’t even say anything at first; she just squeezed me really tight into her. I hugged her back just as tightly. I had missed her so damn much.

As we were hugging, I could hear her sniffling, and then felt another set of arms come around us both. I was pretty sure that it was Rodion who was hugging us both. And I was right when I heard him say, “It’s so

“I’ve missed you all too, a lot. I’m sorry for running and leaving the way that I did. But I have my reasons for doing it,” I told him. “We know what happened with my son and you overhearing him,” he said. “That’s part

of it. But there is more that has to do with my mother and her husband. I’d rather not talk about it right

now. I don’t want anyone to hear me. I still need to be Rose for now,” I told him.

I pulled back from both of them so that he could see my face and how serious that I was. He looked at me for a minute before he nodded his head at me. Alena finally spoke up and said, “Then how about tonight, if you’re not busy, you come to our house for dinner. We have so much to catch up on, and I have a grandbaby to spoil rotten. You also have a sister–in–law, her four fiances, and a nephew to meet as well.”

“I have my brothers staying with me, but I’m sure that both of them and Dove can be without me for a night. And if you’re talking about the girl that was with you that day, then I did her taste testing for her wedding cake. I also already know two of her men. Zeus did all of the security when we first opened up.

have a chance to do anything, and the club dealt with him. I guess it was someone that they had been

looking for. He’d broken into and robbed a few different places around here,” I said.
