75 You Avant Past

**ps since the glarging caramony and my the back to the fae kingdom to save my workers batroyed and child how that free chinks should return, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to

my father Thankfully, Chrissy hasn’t had any more visions and I know my brother isn’t stupid og to ignore my warning Maybe I can jhat speak to Jared, it will give me a chance to check ones and the baby

The car brches forward as Trevor pulls out of the inn parking lot. He places my hand on his thigh and I smile. My fastings for him have only grown since I’ve marked him. He’s been staying at my apartment since we returned from the North Pole. He is also looking at a few houses that are closer to the inn. The fact that he is moving here where I’ve already made my life is more than I could have hoped for it will add twenty minutes to my drive to the hospital, but I love the thought of having a home that will be ors

He asked me to go to lunch with him today at Carly’s diner since I was off last night. The moment we pull into the diner’s parking lot, I notice his posture change and anger flash in his eyes. “Trevor, what’s wrong?” “We should go some place else for lunch, he says. I follow his line of sight. A women that has her eyes focused solely on Trevor starts to stalk toward the car. Before he can pull out, she practically throws herself in front of us.

Trevor get out of the f**king car she practically screams. I realize immediately this is the b**ch that hurt Clarice. The woman she considered her sister. I’m not absolving Trevor for his part in her pain, but he paid for his sins. He lost the woman he actually loved. He has also done everything he can to make it right even before he found me. Trevor’s knuckles are white as he tightens his grip on the steering wheel. “That’s her, isn’t it?” Guilt flashes in his eyes as they meet mine.

Her fist banging on the window startles us both. “Who the f**k is that Trevor? Get out here and talk to me, she says. I notice people are starting to stare. I reach for the handle but Trevor grabs my hand. “What the hell are you doing, he asks. “I’m getting out to deal with the crazy stalker b**ch who hurt my beloved and my new sister.” “No Simone she is completely unhinged. She isn’t even trying to hide her craziness, he says,

I reach up, gripping his face in my hands. “Did you forget who your woman is?” “Get your f**king hands off him, you sit, she screams. I move enough so she can see my face clearly. I give her a devious smile before I pull his lips against mine. She screeches and I smile against his lips. I pull back and look into his eyes. “I’m hungry, let’s go.” “Simone, I know you can handle her, but you can’t Use magic out there in front of every human that has gathered around us to watch the looney Loretta having a meltdown” he says.

“I have no intention of using magic that can be seen. Now you promised me lunch, and I’m starving.” He looked like he wanted to continue to argue, but instead he pressed a firm kiss to my lips. This time, when I reached for the handle he didn’t stop me. The moment I stepped out, she started to round the car. Trevor moved so fast I would swear he teleported if I didn’t know better. He wrapped his arm around my waist.

“What the f**k is this Trevor? Who the hell is this woman? Why the hell are you touching her? Where the hell have you been,” she screams. “Wow, you are a lot. You are at a ten, and I’m going to need you at a three if you want your answers.” Her eyes snap to mine, and she glares at me. “I wasn’t asking you b**ch,” she says. “Well, I’m answering you anyway. Trevor is touching me because he is mine, and I am his. As far as where he has been, the answer is with me, since we live together now.”

She looks between us several times before her face turns a shade of red I’ve never seen. “He isn’t yours. He is mine. I’m the one he has been f**king despite having a wife. Besides, he isn’t even divorced from her yet. Now if you know what’s good for you, get away from my man,” she says, taking a step toward me. I smile when Trevor steps in front of me. “Don’t you ever threaten Simone again. I am not yours. I am hers,” he says, and I smile.

“Trevor, what the hell is this? One minute you love me and the next the only one you can think about is f**king boring Clarice. Now what, you love this stupid c**t. No way. I won’t allow it. You are mine. I have waited too long to be with you to let some fling try to take my place,” she says. Anger bubbles up inside me. I move to step around him before he can stop me. I get close enough that we are toe to toe.

Fear flashes in her eyes before she steadies herself. “Do you think I’m afraid of you? You barely reach my shoulder. Why don’t you run along, little girl, and let the adults talk,” she says. That’s original of her to say, because I don’t know that I’m short. I roll my eyes. Trevor’s arm wraps around my waist again. I know he can feel my anger and annoyance through our bond. I may not be able to use magic, but that doesn’t mean I can’t land a punch to her prissy face.

“Enough Loretta. There is nothing more between us. I suggest you do what Simone said and head back to California. I know the police are still looking for the car that forced me off the road before Christmas. You wouldn’t know anything about that, would you,” he says. “I don’t know what the hell you are talking about. Are you accusing me of hitting you? Where is your proof to make such accusations,” she says.

Loretta POV

The minute I step inside that fat b**ch Carly starts in on me. “Please I just want something to eat. I won’t even speak to them.” “Do you really expect me to believe that after everything that just happened in the parking lot? You are bad news, Loretta, always have been,” she says. “Fine, I won’t stay. Can I order food to go and just use the bathroom?” I try to look sincere despite hating Carly. “Fine, but I swear if you even breathe in their direction I’ll have the sheriff here so fast your empty little head will spin,” she says.

I grit my teeth, giving her my order. As soon as I’m done, I head toward the bathrooms. I glare at the little b**ch that is trying to steal what’s meant to be mine as I round the corner. I’m hoping she wants a go at me when I see her glaring back. I make my way into the bathroom. I quickly do my business. Before I step out of the stall, I hear the door open. I know before I even open the stall door it’s her. I smile knowing even if I hit her she will have no way to prove who started it. The sheriff knows me. He is one of the boys I was friendly with in high school. I’m sure I can persuade him I’m the victim. It’s her word against mine.

I straighten my clothes and push open the stall door. My smile fades when I step out and it’s not only the woman who is trying to f**k up my life, but Trevor. I’m just about to ask him what the hell he was doing in the woman’s restroom when she reaches out, grabbing my hand. I try to pull away, but she grips my hand tightly. Before I can scream at her to let me go, my head starts to spin.

When it finally stops, I can’t speak. We are no longer in the diner’s bathroom. I don’t know where the f**k we are. “Mona, you are here,” a man says from behind me. I turn, and a gorgeous man is rising from a chair behind a huge wooden desk. “I am, and I’m ready to talk, but first I want this evil witch put in the cells until I’ve decided what to do with her,” she says. “Cells, what the hell do you mean cells? Where the hell am I? How the hell did I get here?”

“Welcome to the Kingdom of the Fae Loretta. My brother is the king, and I’m a princess. I’m also a fairy and Trevor is my beloved. Unfortunately for you, you are a prisoner until I decide otherwise,” she says. I start to back up and blink, trying to wake up from whatever this is. “This can’t be real. You aren’t real.” She steps toward me and this time she doesn’t hold back. Her fist connects with my nose. Pain erupts and blood pours down my lips. “I bet that felt real. I also bet you’re wishing you listened when I told you to go back to California,” she says. I really am right now.
