Chapter 109: Awkward siblings

"But he did finish his homework, I was there," Louis assured me.

"Mhmm" I accepted their answer in doubt.

"Alright, Tony why don’t you go on ahead and wash up in preparation for lunch time," Louis told Tony.

"Okay but when can we When can we have another lesson?" He asked Louis excitedly.

"We can have one tomorrow," he told him.

"Okay," Tony said and left the room.

"I hadn’t realised you two had come besties," I said to him once we were left alone.

"Jealous?" Louis asked in joking, mocking tone.

"Extremely," I played along. "You going to tell me what that was about?" I then ask him.

"Unfortunately, that would be breaking our bro code," Louis told me. " What I can tell you though, is that Tony loves you so much."

I felt even more confused by the answer. "Alright then, I’ll leave it," I decided to give up on getting an answer. I drew closer to him and held the punching bag.

"I didn’t know you were into boxing," I said to him.

"Yeah, I started when I was in my late teens," he explained. "It’s how I lost weight back then."

I recalled he used to be chubby. Whilst I did find him adorable I do suppose it wasn’t a healthy weight to have.

"That’s amazing I’m glad you found something you enjoy."

"Want to try a few punches?" He asked me as he got closer and held onto the other side of the punching bag

I shook my head in refusal.

"Come on just a few, Tony was enjoying himself. You might like it as well," he tried to persuade me.

"I’m not up for it How about tomorrow during your second lesson with Tony I join you two?"

"Fine then," he agreed.

"As Louis and Tony cleaned up to prepare for lunch I wait for in a sitting and scrolled through my phone. I noticed my brother had sent me a response earlier this morning.

"I’m free tomorrow." His text read. Tomorrow was a Sunday

"Where should we meet?" I asked him.

’Since the topic of discussion is our mother, why don’t we visit her grave?’ He replied.

My facial expression scrunched up in discomfort. A cemetery was a bit of an odd place to pick for a meeting. However, it was our mothers documents I was requesting. I agreed and we scheduled a time.

After lunch, Louis, Tony and I set out to have a look at the last two homes. They were proper houses with a yard like th one Tony and had been staying in.

So which of the homes do you prefer?" Louis me as we made our way back to his apartment. "Or perhaps you want to continue searching?

"No I think the ones you chose are just fine,’ I assured him. They all have good security which is the most important thing. I haven’t decide

"Alright then let me know when you’ve made your choice."
