Chapter 139: Friend or foe?

"We can go together on Saturday," Louis suggested. "It might be dangerous so I want to be there."

"Okay, but I’ll need to sort out a baby sitter for Tony," I said to him.

"He can stay at my place as he waits for us to return," he suggested,

I glared at him. "Are you kidnapping us again, this weekend?" I asked.

He grinned at me. "Its my favorite thing to do," he joked.

ANTHONY’S POV

I was woken up early on Monday morning by my mother, to prepare for school as she did every day. I showered, put on my uniform, had breakfast with her and then I would leave our apartment with my two bodyguards who came to the apartment to pick me up every morning.

I couldn’t stop thinking about what happened on Friday. It was so strange that my Dad picked me up from school. For a long time since my mother and I had left his mansion I had wished to see him and spend time with him. And then as if my wish had come true he picked me up and spent time with him.

I had fun on Friday driving the go-karts and I was happy my wish came true but it made me realize I was already happy as I was without him. Life was a lot more fun these days with my mum and Louis. I was always looking forward to seeing them and spending time with them in weekends. I still loved my dad of course. He was my dad.

When I enter the school building as usual I’m met with a few stares but nothining I’m not already used to. My mum had told me she planned to have me transfered for the next semester. I guess I wouldn’t have to worry about the stares for long. I entered the classroom and waited for class to start.

At lunch break I met with Albert and we had lunch together in the cafeteria. Then we went to play at the playground. With Zeke and his friends taken care of, could freely play and move around. I would miss Albert a lot since I was moving schools.

"Hey, Tony it’s your brother again," Albert said to me as played on the monkey bars.

I looked in the direction he was pointing and saw Marco walking past the playground as he stared at me.

We had talked to each other for the first time at the go-karting on Friday. We could talk freely because our mums were around at first. We had helped each other with our go-karts and how to drive them. I was definitely more curious about him after Friday.

********

The following day on Tuesday, I once again bumped into Marco in the school who stared at me curiously again as we walked past each other.

We didn’t say anything to each other.

It was on Thursday late in the afternoon that I caught Marco at a water fountain drinking water.

It was currently study period. Typically during the afternoon after lessons it was time for sports activities but if you didn’t have a sport it was just study period for you. I didn’t a sport club on Thursday and I don’t think Marco could play sports because of his condition.

I know mum said I should not talk to him but I can’t help myself. I was curious about him.

He was always staring at me lately aswell, so I’m sure he wanted to talk to me too.

I slowly walked up to him. " Hey," I greeted him.

He jumped up in surprise. He then slowly turned to face me. "Anthony?" he said in a surprise.

"Yeah," I replied.

For moment we just stared at each other. This is awkward I thought to myself as I wondered what I should say next to him. My eyes darted around for a moment.
