My eyes widened as I thought about it. "—Keith?" I then said surprised by my answer. However, it’s the only one that made sense. The object of Disna’s desire was Keith after all. So I’m assuming that that’s who the person behind the scenes was after too.

"Most likely," Louis agreed. "Perhaps Diana was sent to get close to him probably because of his feelings for since she’s his firmer liver.

"But what do they want from Keith?" I said.

"My guess is it’s something to do with money. Keith is billionaire and chairman to a multi-billion dollar company. It puts a target on your back. Not to mention the papers you found look like accounting."

I took out the papers from my pocket once more so we could look at them. "If only we knew what the numbers meant. The paper isnt labeled or anything," I said. The numbers on the paper, though organized were just random numbers listed that seemed to have no purpose.

Louis took them himself and inspected them. ’They look like drafts of an accounting paper. They way in which the numbers are organized that is." he said.

So if Keith was who they really wanted that meant Tony and I were collateral damage? An unsettling feeling came over me as I processed that fact. This whole time I thought Diana was acting on her own and just trying to kill me for fun but now there was a whole conspiracy behind it. Someone who wanted me dead was backing her.

However, this made the whole situation so much worse now.

"We were being watched," I then said as I looked at Louis nervously. "Someone knew we were going to be there in Kensington and made sure to get rid of any evidence."

I know," he answered.

"If this person is powerful as you are suggesting, then is my son truly safe? Am I safe? I’ve been doing everything I can to protect myself from Diana thinking she was the only threat I had to worry about.

"Hey, there’s no need to panic," he said as his hand came over mine. "Recall that they didn’t openly attack us."

I remembered the hood masked person had tried to punch me but also immediately ran after doing so. Indicating that his only goal was to get information not to attack.
