Chapter 169: Shower away the stress (R18)

She looked back at me in surprise. "Oh nothing!" she replied.

My eyebrows raised as I wondered why the woman had captured her interest that much. Had they talked before?

In the car on the way back to the HQ Jasmine and I continued our conversation.

"I want to understand why Keith continues to mess around with me?" Jasmine asked. "He told Robert timend our relationship? I don’t understand what he’s up to at all."

She said as she shook her head.

"Diana is pregnant he should be focused on her and yet here he is focusing on me," she complained.

"It’s clear Keith wants to have his cake and eat it too," I told her.

"But why?" she groaned as she looked.

Because he’s jealous I thought to myself. If course Jasmine was completely oblivious to Keith’s confusing feelings.

"I wish Keith continued to hate me it would have made things so much easier,

By the time we returned to the Garden House HQ there were very few hours remaining till it was time to clock off. Jasmine and I did the little that we could do before we went home for the day.

"After all that’s happened today I just want to shower," Jasmine as we entered my bedroom later that evening. We were staying in my apartment tonight.

"You can," I said to her. "There’s still time until dinner so you can go right ahead."

Jasmine then went into the bathroom take her shower. As I waited for her to finish I changed out of my suit. I put on a pair of sweatpants as I thought about my conversation with my father earlier. I still couldn’t wrap my head around it. What did he want from me?

There must be a reason for it. I guess I would have to wait and find out what it was. After taking off my suit, I then went into the bathroom to wash my face.

Entering the large bathroom it was full of steam from the hot shower Jasmine was taking.

The glass windows of the shower cubicle were covered in condensation, so I could only see Jasmine’s silhouette as she washed herself.

I went to the sink of the the bathroom and began to wash my face. After a moment the shower turned off.

"Louis, is that you?" Jasmine asked.

"Yeah, I’m just washing my face," I told her.

"Okay..." she replied. There was a moment of silence and Jasmine didn’t turn on the shower again. I wondered why.

"Do you want to join me inside?" she then asked me.
