Chapter 199 A fire

"You really don't have a filter do you?" he asked with jaw clenched, a vein almost popping out from his temple.

"When it comes to you, no. In any case, she's eventually going to wake up. You know hates your guts and you're imposing yourself on her," I reminded him.

"That's for us to figure out when she wakes up. Look, I'm sure you've had fun playing house with my wife but we both know your little fling isn't going to last long," he said with such bitterness.

"Sounds to me like you're jealous of my relationship with her and that's why you are faking concern," I replied.

"I'm not going to go back and forth with you. I don't have to explain myself to you. I won't allow you to see Jasmine."

"and I'm not going to let you make decisions that

The two of us remained glaring at each other, the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife, as two individuals walked up to us from behind Keith.

"Gentleman, is there a problem here?" one of them asked once they reached us. It was the hospital security.

"No, we were just wrapping up," Keith told them whilst keeping eye contact with me.

"You can't do this," I told Keith.

"Yes, I legally can," he smugly replied. "And if you don't leave I won't be afraid to take legal action if you keep pressing this issue like this. I will go there."

I internally key out a frustrated sigh. Legally Keith could make decisions on Jasmine's behalf as their divorce was still in progress and with Tony being absent nullifying the protection order it strengthened his reasons for being with Jasmine. I hated how he had that kind of leverage and that I couldn't do anything about it in the moment.

"You can't keep her away from me," I said to Louis.

A cynical smile formed on Keith's lips as he relished in the fact that he had won. I wanted to smack him so badly. π—³π«πšŽπ—²πš πšŽπ—―π•Ÿπ¨π˜ƒπšŽπ—Ή.𝗰𝗼𝗺

I reluctantly began to walk away. I looked through the hospital room window catching one last glance of Jasmine who still lay unconscious. I just wanted to touch her and confirm her physical state. I heard she was injured. Just for my peace I wanted to confirm that she was fine. But Keith, that slimy petty prick didn't want me to have that.

As my bodyguards and I reached the elevator I thought of how Jasmine was expected to wake up within a week or so. I suppose I would have to wait until then to talk to her. I was just worried about what Keith would do with her for the next week.

Her bodyguards were probably going to stay in the hospital until they woke up. But Keith was most likely going to take her to his estate.

Just why…? Why did it have to be you who found Jasmine first? I asked myself.
