Husband you've abandoned me Fine I'll focus on raising my son novel Chapter 210

Chapter 210 The master

"Oh, you're awake now," I heard a familiar voice say.

Surprised I scanned the room and found a small boy coming toward me I hadn't. With the bright light coming through the windows of the room I didn't see his face properly till he was next to me.

His dark hair and blue eyes instantly recognized him.

"Marco?" I asked him in confusion. "What are you doing here?"

He should be at the mansion with my father and Diana.

His eyes then nervously averted away from mine. He didn't say anything.

As I looked at him and wondered why.

"Were you kidnapped too?"I asked him. If he was going through the same I went through, perhaps that's why he was nervous.

"We should go and eat, you must be hungry," he told me.

He didn't answer my question again. "Why won't—" I was about to ask when my stomach suddenly grumbled. I actually was hungry.

"Come I haven't lunch either," he said to me.

"When did I get here?" I asked him.

"Yesterday," Marco replied.

"When did you get here?" I followed up.

"Yesterday," he replied. So just like me.

I then slowly sat up in the bed and looked around the room. There were two beds in the bedroom.

"Where's my mum? Do you know where she is?" I asked wondering if she had also been brought here too.

"No, your mum is not here," Marco answered.

"I don't know where my mum is, either. She left yesterday and still hasn't come back," he went on then trailed off and looked off into the distance as if something had come to his mind.

Was his mum missing too? I thought to myself as I looked at him. Marco was a shy person he seemed especially worried and nervous right now.

I got out of bed looked down at myself noticing I was still wearing my uniform.

I looked at the clock on the wall and saw it was 2pm. My mother and I had been attacked the day before around 2 or 3 pm so I had been asleep since that time.

We left the bedroom where we found two bodyguards waiting outside the door.

"He's awake," I heard one of them say. "We should tell the Master."

I followed Marco who seemed to know his way around the place and one of the bodyguards followed behind us. Marco took us downstairs and my eyes scanned the area. The house appeared to be a mansion. Like our Dad's but a little bit smaller.

We went to a hallway where we met with a lady servant who directed us to a small dining room near the kitchen where Marco and I had lunch together.

After eating a maid then took me to a bathroom upstairs where she had me wash myself. A bodyguard followed and watched me as well.

"These are young master Marco's clothes. You should be around the same size as him you'll have to share from now on," the maid told me pointing to some clothes on a bench outside the shower before I got in to bath.

"From now on? What's going on?" I asked her. How long was I going to be here?

"And your mum…." he continued.

"Marco!" a deep male voice snapped from downstairs finally stopping Marco's outburst.

" What is taking so long? Come down this instant!"

Marco flinched and momentarily cowered behind me. Causing me to look at him in concern.

"Y-yes, dad!" Marco replied.

Dad?! I asked myself alarmed. That was not our father's voice. Unfortunately, I couldn't ask him to explain because Marco quickly pulled me with him left the room, and made his way down the stairs.

We then arrived in a dining room where a man was seated at a dinner table. I felt Marco beside me trembling with fear.

His eyes met Marcos then a furious expression appeared on his face.

"For God's sake, why are his contacts still on?" he complained. "Take them off."

"Yes sir," one of the servants said to Marco.

The man then looked at me. My eyes widened in shock as I studied his face. I realized I recognized the man. His brown hair and his golden eyes.

I hadn't seen him in ages. My mouth opened in disbelief.

A smirk appeared on his lips. "Hello Anthony, finally awake?" he said to me.

"Uncle?" I said in shock.
