Chapter 266: lap Naps

I thought of everything we had done together in the last months that could seem normal and unassuming to bring up but at the same time was something linked to me. We had dinner with Nate and Chelsea that time.

"We should meet up soon last time the dinner we had with Nate and Chelsea." I texted. I crossed my fingers hoping she catches on that it was me.

After about five minutes I got a response.

’Yes, I enjoyed that time as well. We should see each other again some time.’ Her response simply read.

A wave of relief came over me. I was so worried she wouldn’t get it. I then contemplated what to say next.

"They love you." I told her letting her know. Perhaps it was a bit forward and suspicious to to say that.

But I had tell her this. I wanted her to know what I haven’t been able to tell her since she was taken. That I loved her.

JASMINE’S POV

I stared in utter disbelief at the message before me. As I processed the fact that I might be talking to Louis. But how? How did he get access to Megans Stargram account?

’They love you’. The message read. My heart stopped for a moment and my eyes watered up.

Was this him responding to the message I had said to Leigh-Anne that day? Was he telling me he loved me back? Had Leigh-Anne told him what I said? I couldn’t stop the tears as I looked at the phone.

So he wasn’t in a relationship with Leigh-Anne? I wanted to believe ’They love you’ was him saying he loved me. A wave of relief came over me. I knew I could trust Louis.

Louis its you. It’s actually you.... After over 2 weeks of not being able to contact him. Now I could speak to him.

Still I wish I could have heard his voice. That was the best part of him.

"I loved them too," I replied. Hopefully these phrases were obscure enough that Keith wouldn’t think anything of them if he read through them. I mean how would he know that?

But how were we going to communicate now? Whilst speaking in code, we couldn’t say too much. We would have to find a more efficient way to exchange information.

I was barely able to sleep as I continued to go through Edwards folder. Thinking about Louis, but also stressing about Tony.

Keith came late in the morning the following day.

I heard movement from the room next to mine, and I knew Keith had returned.

Immediately, I got up from my seating area and left my room to head to his. went to his room. I needed to see him and find out how things were going so far.

I knocked at his door and he called out for me to enter.

He looked my way and I went inside and as he talked to me. He removed his jacket and placed it on his bed.

I was alarmed by this as I looked at him. "Keith, you haven’t slept since yesterday," I told him. We had literally worked all night trying to solve find the culprit, went to confront him, investigation it had been non-stop for almost two days now.
