Chapter 282: Another dead end

I looked up at the house before me. I was at one of the new apartments that Edward either acquired or rented out at some point for whatever reason.

There were several police cars not he scene already and searching through tithe e place. As I near the entrance the group of three police men talking looked my way.

"Good morning, Mr Acland," One of them greeted me.

"We think we found something sir," one of the police men on the sc. "We have found several secret chambers and hidden passages underneath the house that we will begin going through and searching today."

"Okay," I allowed them to continue as we walked to the house entrance.

"The place used to be an old mine of all the other properties this one is showing the most promise he told me.

My eyes widened immediately and I widened in horror as I quickly read through the

"I want you to trace where this email came from now!" I ordered one of the men.

"Yes, sir," he replied and got straight to it. I followed them as he brought back a laptop and sat down at one of the tables in the dining room. Immediately he began tracing

It was around an hour later when I received an update on the sender of the email.

I looked up and kicked the table nearby. The men all shook and looked at me in concern.

Diana and Edward were really taking a piss now. The taunting had gone too far. He was really challenging me. Telling me do you think you can actually find your son... Diana I will kill you when I get my hands on you.

Unfortunately the only thing I could do was continue investigating him. Since he refused to talk I would prove that I wouldn’t let him win.

I stayed with men as we went through the property and searched for the items.

We searched and looked under every door, bookshelf for any secret passages.

Just as the police had searched in every other one of his properties. We found nothing and I found myself feeling tired.

Later that day when I returned home it was so late in the night past midnight.
