Chapter 47: Out of pettiness

Jasmine let’s talk," he then said following close behind.

"What am I being accused of this time?"

"What?" He asked.

"Why else would you come to see me unless I’m in trouble," I explained.

"Jasmine I’ve just come to talk to you." He responded.

"About what? We have nothing to say to each other. Aren’t you the one who never wanted to talk to me and avoided me like the plague? What’s changed?" I asked him. Especially if he was here to yell at me about something. I wonder what Diana had accused me of this time.

I reached the clothes line outside and began putting up the clothes.

"Why do I feel like our roles have switched, I remember you were the one always trying to talk to me and now it’s me...literally begging for you," he said to me.

"Funny how things change isn’t it?" I replied. Jokes aside why were things turning out this way? I thought if I left Keith alone since and stopped trying to meet with him I wouldn’t have to worry about seeing him. So what the hell was he doing here

"I can’t believe your attitude right now. Let’s talk for a moment, stop what your doing face for a moment," he asked me.

" Make me," I rudely said to him and continued hanging my clothes on the line. That was purely my bitter and petty side talking to him.

There was a moment of silence as Keith just watched me. He then got closer to me I wondered what he was going to do. Suddenly I felt myself being lifted me off the ground and he placed me over his shoulder. I shrieked in surprise.

"Keith, what the hell are you doing!? Put me down!" I yelled at him.

" You told me to make you. I’m simply doing as you said," he told me as he began walking away with me.

"Keith are you serious!? Put me down!" I yelled at him once more but he didn’t respond.

I screamed as I hit his back with my hands to get him to put me down but he didn’t budge. His grip on me remained firm. I knew Keith worked out a lot so he was pretty strong.

He then put me down against the wall of the house. I had no where to escape from as his body which was much bigger and muscular than mine was blocking me.

"There, I think you should be able to listen to me just fine from here," he said to me with a smug grin as he looked down at me.

"You’re insane," I commented as glared up at him. I was considering slapping him when my thoughts were interrupted.

"Mum, are you okay?" I heard a familiar voice ask me.

I looked and found Tony looking at me from out the window nearby with a worried expression. I think he’d heard me screaming.
