Chapter 92 A Shame You’re Not An Actress
Adriel’s laughter drew a glare from Noah.
Lorelei, thrown off by Wynette not reacting the way she expected, looked a little lost.
She instinctively glanced at Payton, who had been standing quietly next to Noah the whole time.
Wynette caught that and followed her gaze.

Payton was casually looking down, playing with her nails, acting like she didn’t even notice Lorelei staring at her.
Seeing that, Wynette figured a few things out.
She leaned toward one of the firefighters and whispered something.
Then she looked back at Lorelei and continued, “Have you lied to yourself so much that you actually started believing it? No wonder you can stand there and throw dirt on me with a straight face.
“Why did you really leave Noah back then? Did you really think I didn’t know?” Wynette asked.
Her question drained the color from Lorelei’s face.
Panic flared in her eyes as she shook her head, a wave of unease crashing over her.
She didn’t believe Wynette knew the truth about what happened back then.
Wynette had expected exactly this reaction.
She stared at Lorelei with a half–smile.
Noah narrowed his eyes. “What do you mean?”
Was there really a twist to what happened back then?
Noah’s heart leaped into his throat.
It wasn’t just him; everyone in the livestream was just as curious, eagerly waiting for the next plot twist.
Wynette didn’t even bother to look at Noah, let alone answer him.
Being ignored like that made his face go completely dark.
Lorelei’s eyes darted around, panic rising. She didn’t even know how to react anymore.
Then, while she was distracted, her foot slipped. She went tumbling over the railing
“Ah!”
She flailed both arms, trying to catch her balance. She hadn’t lived enough yet. She never really wanted to
die.

A firefighter, who’d been waiting for this moment, lunged forward and grabbed her, pulling her back.
She was saved, but her leg slammed into the railing.
Pain shot through her entire body, but it still didn’t compare to the fear of almost dying.
Lorelei’s face went pale as a cold sweat broke out over her entire body. She collapsed onto the floor, shaking uncontrollably.
Wynette and Adriel watched the entire suicide stunt coldly.
Even Noah didn’t step forward.
He stared at Wynette without blinking.
Amid the chaos, Wynette’s eyes landed on the tiny pinhole camera clipped to Lorelei’s collar. Then she spoke calmly, “The reason you left Noah back then was because Eve looked down on your background.
“Eve gave you one million to leave Noah. You agreed, took the money, and left to go enjoy your life somewhere else.”
The moment Lorelei started livestreaming to accuse her, Wynette already knew that this wasn’t a real suicide attempt.
Someone who truly wanted to die wouldn’t make this kind of spectacle.
And only recently had Wynette found out why Lorelei came back to Scenaville to look for Noah.
Originally, she didn’t care. As long as Lorelei stayed out of her way, she wouldn’t care how much she played Noah for a fool.
She could’ve pretended that file didn’t even exist.
‘You’re lying!” Lorelei shouted, struggling to get back up. “Wynette, you’re framing me! You couldn’t have him, so you forced me to leave!”
She tried to stand, but her injured leg gave out.
