I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 207

Because of him, Bunnie was dead, and Lyric had been senselessly attacked.

Ffion was becoming more monstrous by the day!

Niamh also apologized. “Lyric, I’m truly sorry.”

“Cassian, I can’t believe you lived with a woman like that for thirty years,” Lyric said, her voice laced with anger. “I don’t know how you did it.”

Cassian could only manage a heavy sigh.

Lyric wiped her tears away, trying to sound cheerful. “Niamh, Cassian, please don’t be sad. And don’t blame yourselves. This isn’t your fault. Besides, Bunnie was just a little dog.”

She stood up, ready to find a place to bury her beloved pet.

After Lyric left, Cassian began dabbing ointment on Niamh’s cheek. “Niamh,” he asked gently, “why is Mr. Bragg here?”

“Oh, he moved in across the hall from me,” Niamh answered honestly.

Cassian frowned. Why would an heir with a billion-dollar fortune be living in an ordinary apartment complex like this?

“Niamh, is there… anything going on between you and Mr. Bragg?” he asked after a moment. He had noticed the intensity of Jareth’s reaction earlier, and the way he looked at Niamh felt… different.

“Dad, you’re overthinking it,” she said with a dismissive wave.

“Then why would he move in across from you?”

Niamh put on a mysterious expression. “He’s interested in a girl in our building. He’s planning to ask her out.”
