I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 47

"Is she a celebrity? I don't recognize her."

"No, she's a local! Just a festival NPC! Look at this shot, it's insane!"

"Let me see, let me see. Holy crap, she is stunning. She really needs an agent."

"That tiny mole on her collarbone is so incredibly hot."

Finn froze mid-step.

He walked over, stopping right behind the group of women, and glanced down at the glowing screen.

The woman in the photo was wearing an ivory empire-waist gown, standing on an arched bridge with the weeping willows and sparkling lake behind her. The wind caught the hem of her skirt.

She was captured in profile, the breeze sweeping a few stray hairs across her face. Her lips were softly pressed together, her long lashes lowered like a delicate veil.

The tiny mole on her collarbone was perfectly visible in the warm sunlight.

Finn's mind went completely blank.

He stared at the photo, his eyes locked on the screen for several agonizing seconds.

Sienna?

"Captain Fletcher?" One of the flight attendants finally looked up, jumping slightly when she realized how close he was. "Are you checking her out too?"

Finn's expression darkened like a thundercloud.

"Send me that picture."

The flight attendant was stunned into silence.

The other women around her were equally shocked.

They exchanged knowing glances, completely unable to hide the amused smirks tugging at their lips.

Captain Fletcher, the youngest and most decorated pilot at Global Air, a man who strictly never discussed personal matters at work, was actively demanding a picture of a random woman.

"So Captain Fletcher appreciates beautiful women too?" The attendant teased, laughing as she texted him the photo. Her tone clearly implied, 'So you're just like the rest of the guys.'

"Aren't you married, Captain Fletcher?" another attendant blurted out.

She remembered it clearly because she had shared a flight with him not too long ago.

A woman named Chloe had actually approached her and warned her to back off, aggressively claiming that the Captain was married with a son.

It was completely ridiculous.

Finn didn't offer a single word of explanation.

"Send it to me, and I'll buy everyone coffee."

He stared at the screen for a long moment before carefully saving the image, gripping his phone tight.

"How do you sign up for this event?" he asked.

The flight attendant blinked in surprise.

"Captain Fletcher, you want to be an event actor?"

"An event actor?"

The attendant covered her mouth, stifling a giggle.

"You don't even know what the job is, but you want to sign up?"

"Just tell me how to do it, and I'll figure it out."

The women already adored their incredibly handsome captain, and the free coffee made them more than eager to help.

"Here's the link, Captain Fletcher. Just click it, fill out the application, and you're good. They're casting in real-time, so as long as you're good-looking enough, they'll approve you by tonight."

"Yeah, with your face, you're a guaranteed lock."

Finn had never bothered with trivial things like this before. He only engaged in tasks with a clear, productive purpose. Something like a festival application would normally be a colossal waste of his time.

But right now, he sat down and meticulously followed every single step.
