Seraphina immediately grasped the key point.
’The description clearly states that it "consumes stamina," and the notes say the consumption is related to the target’s level. If I wanted to turn a powerful expert or a high-energy item into a dish, I’d probably be drained in an instant.’
Seraphina even made a bold guess.
’That line, "Even a god, as long as you have enough stamina..."’
’...is probably more of a theoretical possibility.’
’Or maybe it’s a distant, ultimate goal, meant to illustrate the incredibly high ceiling of this Talent’s potential, rather than something I can actually do right now.’
’Still, even with these huge limitations, this Ability is incredibly powerful.’
A glimmer of excitement shone in Seraphina’s eyes.
’At least I’ll never have to worry about food again!’
Seraphina glanced at the pile of bizarrely shaped materials that had been dumped out of the Demon Rabbit’s Stomach Bag. ’Maybe... these can be turned into delicious "ingredients" too?’
’This Power of the Beloved practically ignores most existing rules...’ Seraphina marveled to herself once more.
But on second thought, it made sense to her.
Divine Power.
’Which one of them doesn’t "ignore the rules" to some extent?’
’Maxim can suppress the Player system.’
’The Splitting Demon Rabbit can split infinitely. Compared to that, my Ability to turn anything into a dish doesn’t seem particularly out of place.’
The arrival and blessing of that magnificent being, and the process of Seraphina becoming a Beloved, had all seemed to take an eternity, but in the real world, only an instant had passed.
Sean Chandler was still in his previous stance, his eyes sharp. The [Receiving Card] in his hand was glowing faintly, looking as if he was about to launch a fatal blow against the [Splitting Demon Rabbit] at any moment.
"Wait!" Seraphina called out immediately.
Her voice carried a hint of breathlessness that she had just managed to steady.
But more than that, it carried an unprecedented confidence.
Now that she was the Food God’s Favored, facing a Demon Rabbit that also enjoyed Divine Favor, her fears of "divine retribution" had mostly vanished.
Being on the same level of power gave Seraphina the confidence to face it head-on.
’So you have the God of Magical Beasts? Well, I’ve got the God of Cuisine backing me!’
Of course, more importantly, Seraphina couldn’t wait to try out her new Talent, whose description was nothing short of heaven-defying.
[Magic Cuisine]!
’Let’s see for myself what kind of dish a troublesome rabbit like you will become!’
Her eyes glittered with curiosity and eagerness.
Sean Chandler stepped back.
Seraphina could clearly feel that since becoming the Food God’s Favored, a wondrous resonance and connection had formed between her [Magic Cuisine] Talent and the [Food God’s Gourmet Atlas].
The two complemented each other, as if they were always meant to be one and the same.
[Magic Cuisine] could bypass the tedious processes of gathering, preparing, and cooking. It ignored material limitations, allowing her to directly and "conceptually" transform a target into its corresponding dish in the Food Atlas!
This meant that as long as a dish was recorded in the Food Atlas, even if Seraphina had none of the raw materials on hand, she could use [Magic Cuisine] to conjure those magical, powerful dishes out of thin air!
’But the cost is definitely going to be high...’ Seraphina was well aware of this.
Thinking of this, she unhesitatingly took out the [Zengzeng Recovery Soup] she had so carefully brewed earlier, a concoction that could rapidly restore spiritual power.
She set the soup aside, just in case she needed it.
A smile that, to any observer, would look demonic spread across Seraphina’s face.
She looked toward the Splitting Demon Rabbit, which seemed to sense its impending doom and had begun to tremble uncontrollably.
"Heh heh heh, you destructive little pest. I wonder what kind of delicious treat you’ll become? I can’t wait to find out!"
