Chapter 5379: Amaranthine II

A crimson-pink pillar of light blazed up around Emotive, tore through the ceiling of the tower she stood in, and shot up into the sky over all of Velanthra.

Across the entire Citadel, beings turned their heads upward to look at it. Every Luxuria in Velanthra fell to their knees at the sight, struck down by the aura of it, and every Fourth Scale Gilded One and everything below the Fourth felt the Intent demand that they kneel, the weight of a Primordial-rarity record pressing down across the whole of the Citadel!

HUUUM!

Emotive stood at the base of her own pillar of light with tears in her eyes, and wrapped her arms around herself, holding herself the way she imagined her Fixation might hold her, feeling through the connection of her rooted heart something that was almost his embrace.

None of this would have been possible without him. She knew that. She thought it clearly, even through the rapture. Her core lived in him, and his rise had become her rise, and she would never have touched this without his existence to carry her. She wanted to move for him. She wanted, with everything she was, to move for him.

But she wanted to move for herself, too. That was the new thing, the thing that surprised her even now.

Because she did not like the Gilded Ones. She did not like what they had done, engineering hundreds of millions of Lifeforms into hollow bodies of pleasure, deprived and stunted and abused of all their emotions, drained of the very thing she was made of.

And it was not only here. This Observable Existence was one of many. There were countless Observable Existences where the Gilded Ones did exactly this, engineering and amplifying the negative Egos, the emotions of the sins, all for the sake of power, building their strength on the hollowing-out of feeling itself.

She, who was emotion, who had lived every feeling to its fullest, hated it with a purity that matched everything else about her.

She wanted to move against it. Truly, fully.

So.

"Forgive me for any trouble I might bring you, O my Fixation," she said softly.

HUUM!

Above her, the Intent rose higher.

A Primordial Intent, the only one of its kind currently within THE Braneworld Observable Existence, has risen. Designation: THE Amaranthine Sovereign, an Intent of Emotion and Ego.

This Intent falls under the purview of THE Genesis Monarch. By the connection of THE Living Emotive’s heart rooted within his existence, he may access and utilize this Intent at any time he chooses.

Capability of THE Amaranthine Sovereign: This Intent imposes absolute authority over emotion and Ego within its reach. As a Primordial-rarity Intent, existence reorganizes around it as a foundational law. Within its span, the wielder commands the emotions of all present, can amplify, suppress, redirect, or seize the Egos of other beings outright, and can impose feeling upon existence itself as a binding truth. Against the Gilded Ones in particular, whose entire power structure is built upon engineered and amplified Egos, the Intent is catastrophic, for it does not fight their power. It owns the foundation their power is built upon. An Ego is the very thing they cultivated, and this Intent rules Egos as law. Nothing at the Fourth Scale or below can stand against it, because nothing at the Fourth Scale or below holds a foundation it cannot reach into and command.

Emotive glared at the prompts with shining eyes, taking in the full terrible scope of what she had become.

And then she turned her Intent down toward Velanthra, looking with her newly vast perception at the Citadel below her, and she trembled, because there, in THE Sanctum Velanthra, in a different body, her Fixation was looking up at her with shining eyes.

"I wish to burn so many things," she said. "Do I have your permission to do so?"
