Larissa Judson and Haskell Palmer novel Chapter 252

Fraser, who was vying to replace Haskell, frowned but said nothing. To win Zoltan's favor, he couldn't afford to displease him.

After a moment, Garrick protested, “Grandpa, did you hear me? That girl, Larissa, kicked me first! That’s why I cursed at her.”

“And would Larissa have kicked you if you hadn’t done anything wrong?” Zoltan questioned.

The retort left Garrick speechless. What was going on? Why was his grandpa defending that bitch instead of him?

He quickly rationalized it. The Judson family and other guests were watching. His grandfather couldn’t show blatant favoritism. Everything needed proof.

With that, Garrick gestured to the others in the hall. “Grandpa, if you don’t believe me, they all saw it! They can all testify that Larissa hit me first!”

But no one in the Palmer family spoke up. They just continued to watch the drama unfold.

Garrick was incredulous. He could understand Faith and Solomon staying silent, but he was shocked that his own brother, Fraser, said nothing.

“Bro, say something! You saw her kick me, didn’t you?”

Larissa continued calmly, “Garrick, if I’m talking nonsense, then why don’t you swear on your life, right here in front of everyone? Swear that you didn’t mean to make Haskell fall. If you’re lying, may you get hit by a car the next time you leave the house and struck by lightning when it rains.”

“Enough! Shut up!” Garrick interrupted, unable to take any more.

Trevor, unable to stand seeing his son bullied like this, spoke up again, risking Zoltan’s displeasure. “You have no proof for your accusations. It means nothing. But the fact that you kicked my son was witnessed by everyone here!”

“Oh?” Larissa said. “Who says I have no proof?”
